Publisher's summary

Welcome to the world of Whispering Bay Romance, where hot heroes and smart heroines collide to find their happily-ever-afters!

Kitty Burke's biological clock isn't just ticking, it's gonging. But who wants to be tied down by marriage and a minivan when you have an amazingly sexy boyfriend who worships the ground you walk on? Sure, Steve has never said those three magic words. But, Kitty knows he loves her. Some guys just have a hard time expressing their feelings, right? Right.

After three failed marriages, Steve Pappas is in no hurry to walk down the aisle a fourth time. As a matter of fact, he has no desire to ever say "I do" again. He's a successful self-made millionaire, but despite the best of intentions, marriage is one arena he's been unable to conquer. Kitty is funny, sexy, and whip smart - everything Steve has ever wanted in a woman and more. Their life is perfect the way it is now. So why rock the boat and ruin everything with a piece of paper that doesn't mean anything?

When Kitty's aging playboy father unexpectedly decides to tie the knot, Kitty realizes she's been fooling herself. She does want it all - marriage, kids, but most especially, a man who isn't afraid to openly declare his feelings. Can she convince her commitment-phobic boyfriend to take the ultimate chance? Or will she be forced to settle for happy for now instead of happily ever after?

This book is a prequel novella. As with all the books in the Whispering Bay Romance series, it can be enjoyed as a stand-alone novel.

Rich Lover Boy

Great and fun story. I can’t understand why such nasty language has to be used to tell a sweet romance story.

Cute and Short

This was a short story that help build the foundation for the series that was just completed. Parts were repetitive but it was okay as it let you know how groups and relationships were formed. Not the best story in this series but still entertaining.

Read this one first

I enjoyed listening to this book but Steve was an idiot and she kinda was too. Narration was good.

Not my favorite

I really liked the first three book in this series but I feel like this one didn’t go into as much detail as the other three have. Also the other three books flowed into one another. I felt like this one should have been first because in the other ones kitty and him are already married about to have a baby. So this one just threw me completely off.

Short and sweet

I found this book to be sincere and yet right to the point. It could have been a longer book with more to the characters and more there chemistry but it is still enjoyable as it is.

It's okay.

I don't love the narrator. Her voices are very aged. The men sound 60-70 when they're not. The women sound 70-80 when they're 30s. Weird.

The story was okay. Characters seemed very immature. The story was weird to me as well. They don't feel like adults. I'm curious about the town so I'll read another one.

Kitty & Steve

This book is technically out of order if you look at goodreads it shows it’s book 4 but it’s a prequel to the series. Either way not a huge deal to read out of order. I enjoyed Kitty and Steve’s story; they have a sweet relationship. Wish it was a bit longer in length.

Too Short

I really enjoyed the book. I wanted more and wasn’t ready for it to end so I had to rate it a 3 for the story. There was definitely room for more. I still recommend to anyone who enjoys a good “quick” love story.

Very nicely performed.

The story and preforms where wonderful. There was a problem with the last two chapters stopping and needing restarted a lot.

“Cartoon character” male voices

I really like this series, BUT the annoying male character voices prevent me from listening to each in one sitting!
