Publisher's summary

Wanda Schwartz is raking in the dough selling Bobbie-Sue Cosmetics - and she's a pro at recruiting new saleswomen. So, she's shocked when a man comes to one of her in-home parties - a very hot man. Heath Jefferson is sure to put some extra spin into a lot of women's color wheels.

When Wanda is diagnosed with a terminal illness, it doesn't have to be a death sentence. With a werewolf and a vampire for best friends, she has options that most ordinary people wouldn't. As Wanda ponders what to do about her mortality, Heath reveals he has secrets, and one of them is that his former bloodlust has turned into an old-fashioned lust - for Wanda. And he's already given up too much to lose the love of his lifetimes.

Really.. Good story but..

I enjoyed the story but how many Jesus and God. Authors need to learn how to write good stories without feeling the need to always curse or be religiously disrespectful. I barely made it through this book. Oh how I would love to find books that don't use God's name in vein. So freaking disrespectful!

REVIEW:
Wanda Schwartz is keeping a secret from her two best friends. A secret that once it gets out will change everything. But in the mean time Wanda has to get ready for her open house and sign up some new recruits for Bobby Sue. But Wanda’s newest and brightest recruit my just challenge ever one of Wanda’s last nerves.

To say that Heath Jefferson is having a rough go of it would be an understatement. Poor guys only has the cloths on his back, a watch, his man servant and his car. But when he sees the add to make a bunch of money in a short period of time he jumps at the chance. Only problem. He is a man. Yes, a man. A man who is willing to sell woman’s makeup to make a buck.

I was so excited to get to Wanda’s book. And while the story was good, the beginning was just a tad bit slow for me. But as the story went on I found that it got better and better. The last few chapters were my favorite of the whole book. I liked Wanda and Heath. I thought they were pretty funny together. It was fun to see Marty and Nina too. Even if my ears will never be the same after listening to Nina talk (Wowza that girl needs a bar of soap). All in all I am glad that I stuck with this book and finished it out.

Again, Ms. Mitchell does a great job of bring Ms. Cassidy’s characters to life. There were a few time when Ms. Mitchell was reading Nina’s dialog that I felt a little bad and shocked. She really was able to get into Nina’s potty mouth. I often wonder how narrator’s feel about things like that. :) But I loved it and I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

Number 3 is better than one and two

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

nah.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

meh

Did The Accidental Human inspire you to do anything?

yes it inspired me to find my local werewolf pack and ask them to bite me...who comes up with these questions....?

Any additional comments?

The first book the killas and hellas were annoying. The second they made sense with the character even though they were still annoying. The third book they were annoying and stupid and even more out of character than the first book. I mean...this is WANDA.... these weren't teenage boys these were door to door cosmetics sales women in their thirties....

The Best So Far

Well, I have to say, I’m glad I stuck with this series because this was the best book so far. There was still some use of the Lord’s name in vane but not every breath. Still, I wish the books could be written without that. And for those who wanted to stake Nina in the last book, we don’t see much of her in this one. And when we do, she is so funny. The whole book had me laughing so hard. And it was a nice surprise to see what Wanda and Heath wind up being. I love Heath and his man servant Archibald. There’s not as much beating around the bush in this one or repeating of same old stuff. I listened to the audiobook and the narrator makes it even more better. Think I’ll get the next one.

Liked it, but there was a lot of lag.

I enjoyed this book, but I did have to fast forward through the parts that repeated the same point of the story in the same conversation over and over. I think the was to be dramatic, but it was overkill. Beyond that, it was a filing story and I appreciated the twist of Wanda’s story.

It would be very interesting if Dakota Cassidy would write a story from the guy’s perspective. They too are interesting and fun when they are on the canvas.

Fun and amusing!

It's a fun romp that had me staying up to listen to the end. Didn't get much sleep because I needed to know how the drama would end.

Wonderful Wanda

If you liked Martie’s femininity and Nina’s no holds barred take to anything you’ll love Wanda. Meredith Mitchell does a good job with the voices in these books because the voice for the same repeat characters doesn’t change. There were some tears in this book, but there’s an HEA even if Heath May never have another Reese’s peanut butter cup.

great twist and turns!

usually with romance novels we know the outcome because you know it's a romance. however with this particular book I really like that I didn't see the end coming even though it was quite obvious what was going to have to happen The way they kind of blundered it was awesome. looking forward to the next book definitely a recommended read.
