Western Hearts..

- Hopeless Hearts: Texas Heat, Book 4 by Amelia Rose

Amanda returns home after being away for awhile and runs into someone from her past.

The story line includes a decision to make, a secret and a side of romance.

- Hidden Desires: Texas Heat, Book 5 by Amelia Rose

This has a female afraid to get hurt and one determined to change her mind.

- Rescued Hearts: Texas Heat, Book 6 by Amelia Rose = 4 stars

Both leads have been hurt and are grieving in their own ways.

Emily has lost someone that was close and Andrew has an aversion.

Overall, this three book bundle was short, sweet, and filled with romance.

Charles D. Baker did well with the narration.

Amelia Rose Is Much Improved from Books 1–3

--The stories of Amanda, Honey and Emily, their ties to the workers and ranch owners of the Circle O Ranch (even cranky and gruff Andrew!) Please read the Publisher Summary for each book for the descriptions of each story. I do not feel that I can add to it without spoiling.

Each story is less than 3 hours long, Amelia Rose manages to pack in a complete story about the main couple as well as reminding us of previous couples and hinting at those yet to come. While each can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading them in order if possible.

Charles D Baker has me flummoxed as a narrator. In some books he is wonderful and in others he is a grating… I think the latter happens when he tries to be 'down homey' and 'yeehaw-ish', that is annoying.

Amelia Rose Is Much Improved from Books 1–3. However, the material in books 4 – 6 are a bit more risqué than 1 – 3. This includes women who are pregnant outside of marriage. It was an improvement, in my opinion. But some who read for 'innocent' romances may not like the material.
