I love a god forbidden romance and this being a younger woman/older man romance falls into that category. Plus, this is a Kendall Ryan novel so I know I needed to listen. Although I love Kendall Ryan and her writing, this book seemed to fall a little short. Especially in comparison to the other books in the series. The story seemed to fly by and characters never really had time to build a connection or develop themselves. I needed more passion. I wanted more conflict. Just MORE. Especially after the previous two books in the series were amazing. Everything seemed to go by so quickly that I was unable to become fully invested in Quinn and Alessandra’s relationship. It was good, but it wasn't the usual Kendall Ryan amazing I'm used to. Narration by Megan Tusing and Joe Arden was fantastic as always. They elevated this audio for me. Megan was delightfully captivating as Alessandra and Joe Arden portraying and older gentleman while speaking Italian was the hottest thing since Joe Arden speaking English. Is there anything that man can’t make sound hot? The answer is no. Joe Arden makes everything hot. Chemistry between the narrators was great and truly added sparkle to this book. Definitely two narrators that should be on everyone’s must-listen lists.

This may have been my favorite book in this series. And that's saying something because I loved Cooper. But Quinn. Oh, man. Quinn. He's that smart, sophisticated, gorgeous, older man that you only see in movies or read about in books. He knows what he wants and he isn't afraid to go after it.
And he wants Alessandra.
Quinn's new Italian tutor is a twenty-two year old who has her life mapped out. The plan is to spend three more weeks Stateside and then move to Italy. It's the dream. The ultimate dream. And nothing will stand in her way.
Except maybe Quinn Kingsley.
There's just something about a man in a suit. Something about a man who goes after what he wants, who speaks a foreign language, and who believes in the power of a date. A real date. Not a hook up or a night of meaningless sex (not that that hasn't been a thing for Quinn, but at his age, he's ready for love).
So, yeah. Quinn and Alessandra. They top the charts for me in this series.
