Great Series!

This Captive Brides series is so good and this book is no exception. I am looking forward to listening to the next book in the series. Patrick Blackthorne did a great job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Interesting but not my kink

As usual this story was well written, but no matter how hot the scenes were I found myself cringing for the subject matter. I now honestly know that pet play is not my kink, nothing against anyone that enjoys it. if you enjoy it then I would definitely recommend this book.

A hot steamy menage

This is the third book in the Captive Brides series. Isabella is an illegal third child in a world that does not allow more than two. She is shipped off to a detention center to be sold as a bride. Unfortunately, she gets caught up in a group at the detention center that is trying to disrupt the center. The warden decides to sell her to brothers who will train her as a pet. There is a HEA and this is definitely a hot, steamy menage. I enjoyed the narration by Patrick Blackthoirne as well.

Alien pet play

We know why we read these books and if you're into pet play and would like some hunky aliens mixed in for some menage, grab this book. It will do the job nicely 😘

Another Steamy Audiobook

Another hot sci-fi ménage story by the incomparable Sara Fields! Patrick Blackthorn did an awesome job as well. I love a great romantic science fiction.

Not a lot of story but there's a lot of pet play

Listened to audio narrate by Patrick Blackthorne. Easy to listen to but I didn't care for the tone, It's probably appropriate for the genre but I wasn't a fan of how the males all seem to talk down to Isabella and the other pets. The guards sounded like stuffy, stodgy bureaucrats.

Isabella Bedard a is an illegal third human child from Earth. She's sent off planet to be married off to an alien. Instead she's bought to become Noah and Zack's pet. There's a bit of non-con here, as she's not given a choice whether to become a pet and failure to be a good pet could lead to her banished to their dangerous outer world.

Noah and Zack are pet trainers from a planet that treats all woman as pets. When they come of age they are trained and sold to 'worthy' owners. Noah and Zack purchase Isabella as a wild woman but quickly learn she's a rare pet who excels in all three types of pets, service, kitten and pony.

This is all about pet play and spankings for naughty pets.

Isabella goes from virgin to ménage, and craving the pain and from spoiled, pampered daughter to wanting to serve, in almost no time. I didn't feel their connection, their affection seems to only stem from how good a pet she was and nothing really about her.

Very little story, mostly about the kink and sex, but if you like reading about pet play you may enjoy it.

An animal?

I'm disappointed by the story line . It is one thing to be trained as a sex toy for marriage but to be trained as to behave as an animal? Would hope for better sories.

Skip this one!

I love finding books in series and tend to listen to them all. I have contemplated whether or not to listen to the last two in this series and have decided not to listen to them at this time because this book completely turned me off to the series. The previous two books were OK, although the relationships within them were not developed like other books/series I have listened to. All the books need to have more character and relationship development. I find the spanking focus in all three books a bit much, but i do enjoy books with BDSM elements, to solely focus on spanking for spanking sake is off putting to me. Along with far too many spankings for spanking sake, and the whole premise of this book (the "Pet" aspect), dehumanizing and degrading women has made this possibly the worst book I have ever read! If you are listening to this series as I do, skip this one. The degradation of the main female character (and all other female characters) makes this book a definite no go for me.
