Publisher's Summary

The classic story of a love too long denied.
Theresa
As innocent as she was unsure, Theresa Brubaker had lived much of her 25 years trapped in a body she loathed. Her precious beauty was treasured by everyone but herself - until a very special man showed her a very special love.
Brian
Proud, sensitive, caring, Brian Scanlon sought to unleash the butterfly wrapped in Theresa's cocoon of inhibitions. But trust for Theresa came haltingly and a bold, courageous decision she makes alone nearly destroys the promise of their love.
Sweet Memories
A story of passion. A story of pain. A story that will make you laugh - and cry - as it brings warmth and magic into your heart. Sweet Memories is a classic love story to savor and one you will never forget.

Falls Flat

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

The abridged version of this sweet love story robs the reader of the experience of feeling the romance grow and the tension build as the young couple works our their issues.

What other book might you compare Sweet Memories to and why?

Maybe a novel by Sandra Brown or Delinsky.

What does Constance Towers bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The narrator was expressive and did a good job.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Sweet Memories?

None. That was the problem. The book was abridged and the parts that were cut were needed to make the story more believable.

BEWARE

This is not the entire book parts are missing. Horrible narration. Each character sounds alike
