The story was ok.

The narrator was the worst. At times it sounded like she was stifling her laughter and at others either chewing gum or sucking on a mint. She missed words and clearly lost her place a few times. There was no attempt to bring characters to life. instead the book was read in the same monotone manner. Maybe if I read the book and skipped the audio, I would have enjoyed it more. I'll definitely skip anything with this narrator.

Good book .Bad narrator

I loved how quickly their-story moved along. I ,however, did not like the narrator. bummer

Narrator killed this story!

Loved the actual story and plot, but the narrator was as dry as concrete! The narrator never made the book come alive. I love this author and will purchase more books a and audiobooks as well, but if it’s the same narrator I won’t be purchasing the audiobook.

Awful Narration

Not that I have a problem with anyone reading a book but the narrator had no idea how to read this one. There are words and actions that could use an authentic voice. No emotion, no enunciation, no good. You can hear her lips smack.
As the story moves forward the reader sounds bored. Couldn’t take anymore!

Horrible Narration

The narrator sucked. She read the book, poorly. There was no tone or inflection in her voice There was random rattling around in the background and she mispronounced words. The story itself was under developed. This selection wouldn't have been a total bust had the narration been decent

Bad narrator

Narrator giggled and it was distracting. Story was ok. Wish the other characters were more fleshed out.

Loved the story

It is always terrible to hear how kids suffer when parents don't do their jobs and it's even worse when they have no one to turn to so they are preyed upon by the lowest of the low. She was better than me cause I wouldn't have given that woman two seconds of my time after that sorry childhood. The narrator sucked! Not only can you hear her sucking on a drink about to burp but she's laughing while reading and it seems kind of mocking. She is more reading than bringing life to the characters not to mention she reads too fast like she is rushing through the book.

Poor performance

The performer simply read, she didn't perform. The poor performance took a lot away from story.
