Publisher's summary

From New York Times and USA Today best-selling author A.L. Jackson comes the next sexy, gripping Bleeding Stars stand-alone novel...

I'm Ash Evans.

The life of the party.

Hot. Rich. Charismatic.

A tattooed rock star with the world at my feet.

I burn through women faster than the strike of a match.

I've embraced my lifestyle and live it to the fullest.

Until the day my lifestyle caught up to me.

Willow Langston found me at my lowest.

Literally.

Facedown in a puddle of my own blood.

I owe her my life and I have three months to repay that debt.

What I never should have done was touch her. Kiss her. Take her to my bed.

Love wasn't supposed to be a part of the equation.

I gave up that nasty complication a long damned time ago.

Now I want her more than my next breath.

But she doesn't know what I know.

Do I leave to protect her? Or can I face my demons and ask her to Stay?

This is FANFREAKINGTASTIC!!!!!

This book guys I am telling you is utterly phenomenal this story is going to blow you away. If you thought Wait was a good story this book is just as amazing.

So many feels so much heart break, so much regret and loss and sorrow. But yet there is so so much hope and happiness you wouldn't think so but it’s true.

Willow is one heck of a strong female you don’t see it right away, she will unfold and show herself to you bit by bit. And you will fall in love with her.

Ash, oh Ash is a story I have been waiting for and his story will break your heart. But it will heel as he heels in the book. I am telling you Mrs. Jackson really made me fall in love with Ash in away I don’t think I ever have for a fictional character. I wanted to reach out and hug him. At times I wanted to shake him and then there were times I wanted to cry for him.

This story is not about finding yourself and learning to live with the past. For me this story was about embracing the future and learning to forgive what has pasted.
These two characters have this connection that makes this story so believable to me.

I am also so blown away with the narrators, both of them I am huge fans of but for me it was the way they brought this book to life. The emotion they put in their words, you just feel it come through. I can’t tell you how much I love this audiobook you just have to experience it for yourself.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

They Just Keep Getting Better and Better

Every time I think this series has peaked the next book comes out. If it's possible I think each book gets better than the last book in the series. I'm so hooked. Ash and Willow give all the feels -- makes you just want to take your heart out and give it to them. I like that events from the group's past are revisited from Ash's point of view and we get insight in to more of the group's past and how it affects their group dynamics presently. Kudos to A.L. Jackson for keeping the entire Sunder family engaged in each book. I'm really looking forward to Zach's story so we can find out the how's and why's of his celibacy.

Fabulous job narrating by Andi and Zachary expressing the passions and emotions of Ash and Willow to the point that you feel as if you're there experiencing all the feels too.

Absolutely worth a credit or whatever price you paid. This author with these narrators are a fantabulous buy. I have listened to over 1100 audio books and it's rare that I give 5 stars across the board but this is one of my favorite authors and favorite series with two of my favorite narrators. This is win, win, win all around!

This Series Gets Better With Each Book!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this book! This book will hit every emotion you have at least twice! Its twisty, sad, sweet and sexy all in one. Willow has had a lot of loss in her life and she is just trying to go through the motions of living when Ash appears on her doorstep (almost literally). Ash is a rocker with a lot of guilt about the past who is planning to live his life in the fast lane making no real connections to anyone except the people already in his life. These two have great chemistry and they are a big ball of issues but together they might just get past them! This entire series has been great but this one is probably my favorite <3

The narration was PERFECT!!! Andi Arndt and Zachary Webber are both excellent narrators and were a great choice for this book!

Shocking Plot Twists With Ending I Won't Forget!!

I'lll be honest, I almost didn't finish this one. For me it had a slow beginning, and I actually started, and stopped this audio several times....... but OH, BOY, OH BOY, OH BOY, I'm sooooo glad I stuck it out! The plot twists, secrets, and ending caught me by surprise....... I'm still a little shell shocked! I loooove stories with plot twists, whether they are heart-warming, gut-wrenching, or shocking, and Stay definitely delivered them all!

Kudos to the Andi, and Zachary! They delivered an outstanding performance, and I could feel all the emotions!

Once the story started moving, I loved it, and agree with all the positive reviews. Dang..... I feel I've been cheating myself....NOW I'm gonna have to listen to the other audios in the series to see if their plots are just as shocking! Credit or sale, I don't think you could go wrong with either. 4.5 Stars.

A MOVING MASTERPIECE BY A TRULY GIFTED AUTHOR

A.L.Jackson has pulled out all the stops with this incredible, unforgettable and emotional love story between two damaged people who have both had their hearts broken in the past.. but in very different ways. Ms. Jackson uses words like an Artist uses paints.. and slowly, with each masterful stroke and each colorful blend, a beautiful yet tragic picture is eventually revealed.

Willow's ex really did a number on her and she's still reeling from all his manipulative, deceitful and hurtful lies.. Willow was so close to getting her heart's desire of love, a family of her own and the HEA she's dreamt of since she was a young girl. She's lost everyone once dear to her - all she's got is her business and a box full of broken promises.. but when she saves a stranger outside her Shop whose close to death she'll forever alter the course of her life.. but it won't all be good.

Ash is Sunder's happy, charismatic, easy-going manwhore and he likes it that way.. no strings, no promises and no emotional ties.. which all goes to hide his very emotional demons. But one day things go terribly wrong and Ash ends up fighting for his life.. but a beautiful brown eyed angel saves him and now he wants nothing more than to repay her in some way. However, Ash isn't prepared for the instant chemistry, attraction and strong pull he feels when he seeks his saviour out.. or the emotions she makes him feel as their relationship slowly changes from friends to lovers. They both went into the relationship knowing there was an end date - but Holy wow they weren't expecting such a powerful connection, such deep deep feelings to grow, such excruciating heartache.. and such a painful twist of Fate.

This has got to be the best story in the Bleeding Stars series so far - Ms. Jackson has written something spectacular, something riveting, something unforgettable.. and something that pulled out so so many feels. From anxious anticipation as the characters grew close, through their breathtaking sexual relationship that should've fizzled, to the debilitating heartbreaking history that made Ash erect some very high walls, then came the tears and fears of the gut-wrenching twist - ending with the beautiful HEA that they both truly deserved. Great characters, character growth, awesome dual POV storyline, sex, romance, a sexy drool-worthy damaged hero and two wonderful narrators who breathed air into this vivid detailed story and brought it all to life.

Worth a credit? YES, it was far more than I'd ever ever hoped for.. and this is why A.L. Jackson is an auto-download Author for me.

Devastatingly Amazing

I loved reading this book in print, but I am floored by how amazing it is told by Andi and Zachary. They brought these 2 beautifully broken characters to life and made me fall in love with the story all over again.

Weak characters and weak plot

Ash and Willow are amongst the worst Romance couples. They're not good together and they're honestly pretty sad characters by themselves. Ash is arrogant - to the point where it's overdone and unnecessary. Willow is supposed to be seen as quiet, but strong. She certainly has the quiet part down, but I didn't see a single moment where she could have been considered strong, either mentally or physically. She's a weak-willed person. She fails to keep to her own standards and morals. She's only really 'unique' because she doesn't throw herself at Ash like other women, which if you compare her to Romance heroines in general, she's not unique in this aspect. Additionally, the backstory that links Ash and Willow together is so horribly done. It felt like a cop-out of a backstory. It made no sense and just made it even more confusing that somehow Willow still gets together with Ash in the end.

It also doesn't help that the writing of this book was very strange. There's an overuse of short sentences and both Ash and Willow talk the same way.

Just too melodramatic

Their "deep" thoughts and constant angst was just too annoying this storyline has gotten worse with each story. It's almost like the author thinks that if they are angst filled enough their story line doesn't really matter. I love andi arndt but even she couldn't make these drippy people likeable.

If your ex ran off with your life savings wouldn't you get angry and pursue charges with the police or would you cripple yourself with self doubt and blame and basically let your dream job collapse due to no money? Yeah self doubt and irritating pity parties ftw!

He gets beat up by the boyfriend of a one night stand and she saves him by finding him and calling for help. He pays her back by offering her a job and then immediately hitting on her.

Honestly I didn't even care if they got together

Looking to get my credit back in this one
