Publisher's Summary

So, I fly off to LA for the big Peaches Monroe (that's me) underwear campaign shoot. I'm nursing a bruised heart from everybody's favorite TV vampire, Dalton Deangelo, when along comes this new batch of trouble. Keith Raven. Sexy, tanned, and nearly naked. He's my new co-model, and let me tell you, Keith is the full package. Other girls fantasize over his sexy calendars for a reason. The best/worst part is he takes his time when he touches me, which drives me absolutely crazy.
"My new bestie Mitchell warns me that all male models are walking disasters, but I can't control myself around Keith. To mess with my head, Dalton Deangelo is trying to redeem himself and win me back. He sucks at redemption, but he has a special sense for danger, and always shows up when I need to be rescued. Now I've got two insanely hot guys fighting over me, and I'm headed for disaster. Somebody please stop me, because if I keep slamming my heart like this, it's going to break.

Not Worth It!

“I like to keep my eyes open. Wide open. But you have to close your eyes to fall in love, I think.” Peaches Monroe"

This plus size girl has seen more “action” in a month than most girls see in three years. The bed hopping and non-emotional relationships are surprisingly easy to get used to and, for some reason, don’t seem to be at all heart-wrenching. Where Peaches was with movie star Dalton in book one, she is with underwear model, Keith Raven in book two and ends up lip-locked with Adrian Strong by the end of this book. There is no jealous melt-downs or crying fits anywhere, just a calm moving on and seizing the adventure.

As I said in my review of the first book Stardust, I have never read a “romance” series like this before with its embarrassing encounters, intimately accurate sexual frustrations and no-nonsense relationship skipping. Peaches is truly a woman who buries unhappy events and moves forward with a tenacity to avoid pain (crying). In this episode, Peaches learns that Dalton was using her for Research for a script that included a fat girl lead. He word for word used lines from the script on her to melt her emotions and use her. While he didn’t see it that way, he regrets loosing Peaches to Keith Raven, one of her underwear models. Keith has just broken up with his girlfriend Tabitha and they agree to be each other’s rebound.

I frankly, was surprised at how fast Peaches was in bed with Keith (one day) after finding out about Dalton’s script. But Keith is a sexy, sweet guy and one cannot help liking him and seeing her move on. Always Adrian Strong is in the background making you feel that he will be the ultimate best person for her because he is not LA-fake, but who knows? Peaches doesn’t seem capable of falling in love, yet. She sure does get around sexually.

Peaches gets into a lot of trouble while in LA; drinking, messing with Keith’s ex and being her snarky self. You have to love Peaches and her attitude even if she does live in denial of the bad choices she has made and is making. It’s true; you just can’t stop listening about her life and there really is something dynamic about her that is compelling in a car-crashing sort of way.

Very descriptive sex (including anal, oral and minor public). There is a lot of profanity.
