Publisher's Summary

Iain MacGregor knows how his warlock family feels about outsiders discovering the truth of their powers: it's forbidden. That doesn't seem to stop him from having accidental magickal discharges whenever he's around the woman who has captured his attention. Apparently his magick and other "parts" don't seem to care what the rules are, or that the object of his affection just might be his undoing.
Warning: Contains yummy, hot, mischievous MacGregor boys who may or may not be wearing clothing and who are almost certainly up to no good on their quest to find true love.

Wonderful read..

So, at 46% I was surprised that wasn’t anything sexual going on, unlike Love Potions with the first 30% of the book was all about sex. Don’t get me wrong, I hardly ever read books without sex, only by mistake, but sometimes the sex is just too much. And when it comes to these books I wanted to read about all the funny things this family does to each other, being warlocks and all. Some parts were LOL and other parts were just crazy hysterical.

AND I like the fact that the men didn’t fight their feelings all through the book. They aren’t over-angsty, which I consider a blessing. I liked Iain in the last book and I liked him still but I really liked Jane, AND I just knew Sean was going to be a bad guy, something creepy about him. LOL, he did get what he deserved, and he really was creepy!

It had the usual pranksters: Euann, Malina, Rory, Raibeart, Fergus, Murdoch, Angus, Margareta and Cait. I gotta tell ya’ the last 3 or 4 pages were so funny I went back and read it 3 more times. I know for sure I’ll read these books again. Warlocks, witches, banshees, and a fabulous family you can’t help but love? What more could you want.

There was sexual tension and sex in this book (not erotic) but there was no swearing to speak of.

As to the narrator: Again, Frank Ferraiuolo did a fantastic job. His Scottish accents were great and the women sounded exactly like women. AND his emotions while reading were just awesome.

Siblings, love and magick.

What did you love best about Spellbound?

Everything, however some fun with the siblings and hearing the Scottish accent was wonderful. The love story was fun, just everything.

What other book might you compare Spellbound to and why?

Love Potions and Stirring up Trouble by Michelle Pillow the complete series to date.

What does Michael Ferraiuolo bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I have read the book and hearing it read with the accent does add to an already wonderfully funny touching love story.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Much laughter.

Any additional comments?

Siblings beware! If you think your brothers and sisters have played pranks and you have returned the favor--be thankful they have no old magick. The MacGregors do and use it throughout the book to add a giggle here and there.

The men are gorgeous and mischief-makers, although the women may be fewer in number, they make up for it in paybacks.

Jane and Iain have quite a struggle to reach for their HEA. While most of the magick from the family is in good spirit (no pun intended) there is evil about and vicious plans. Jane is ill and has fought to live for her whole life. Now she has a bigger reason to fight.

You will have to tag along for the story because there is no short way to tell it all. However, it is a great journey that will keep you, smiling, If you guess what has happened you are an amazing plotter as is Michelle Pillow. She has created worlds and families and always delivers great characters you can't help but fall for each every book and this is no exception.

Five star and worth more.
