Publisher's Summary

What do women want? Newspaperman Colin Lyons needs to figure it out, fast! Because advice columnist Rina Lowell is waging a sexual campaign against him that he can't withstand for long. Not that he wants to. Rina is as irresistible to him as her column is to her readers. The problem? The newspaper's in the red, and all fluff pieces have to be cut. Still, faced with Rina's seductive powers of persuasion, Colin can't resist taking her to bed. Little does she guess he's about to put her out of a job, too.

Summer read

Main characters were hands all over or in bed most of the time so there wasn’t much time for the actual story. If you like lots of bedroom scenes then you will love this book. Don’t get me wrong I love a good hot story but there was more sex than story.

Prose Challenged

I can't for the life of me figure out how Carly Philips became a best selling author. Her stories are labored, her characters two -dimensional, and her prose is as artless as any I've ever read. We're endlessly told what the characters are feeling (happy, sad, conflicted and/or horny) but made to feel none of it ourselves - except maybe the horny part. She's definitely not stingy with the sex scenes - but in the long run, you won't care if the central characters stay together or not. Yawn.
