Publisher's Summary

Wealthy Assistant D.A. Logan Montgomery needs to ruin his reputation--fast! That's the only way he'll be able to convince his father that he's not cut out to follow the family tradition of going into politics. His plan? To indulge in a very public fling with a woman whose family is a scandal in itself.
It should have been the perfect solution.... Only, the more time Logan spends with Catherine Luck, the more he realizes he'd give up his reputation - and everything else - for just one night in her bed.

Not enough story

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

There wasn't enough story to make this a worthwhile listening experience. I know it was only 5 hours, but you'd figure there would be a little more character development. Alas, there was not.

What didn’t you like about Julie Fain Lawrence’s performance?

It would have been MUCH better if the narrator had not tried to use a Boston accent. It was distracting.

Another Bad One

The story sucked but worse than that, the narrator couldn’t do a male voice so she gave the men a horrible accent to compensate for her lack of ability. Skip this one. I read it at night and slept through it. There are much better books to read.
