good story

You kind of need to listen to bodyguards series 6th book before listen to this One. it was interesting listen, will most likely listen to all books in this series.

It was suspenseful from beginning to the end and not missing the romance. Great rest and the reader was wonderful!

Tough & Gentle

Good story,kept my interest. A few nasty unnecessary words. That is reason I didn't selectanother by this Arthur. I enjoy good story without the f word or any profanity.

Exciting Yet Romance Too

Lots of action and suspense fills this novel. I was pleased there was believable romance too. Loved it and will look for others in this series

Mercy Me!

I enjoyed the voice of the narrator. The story line adds allot of different aspects. I enjoyed getting lost in the story line. You really feel the emotions of each character.

great storyline

lots of action and adventure, interesting characters and storyline. was a very good listen. narration was very good too

Heavy action, light romance

This is my first book from the author, and I can say her books are also capable of satiating my craving for an action-packed read. However, the difference I see from my usual action suspense read is that she is more fearless in delivering the needed punch, even to our MCs. Or, to put it precisely, she is not afraid if she leaves chaos in her wake, even if it would lead the MCs to be severely injured.

In the romance department, however, the burn is so slow that I was not rooting for them until the very end—although I would have to admit the grand gesture part, albeit very simple. But what I love about this author, and it shows in the entire book, is her ability to tell her stories that would captivate you with the action and the emotion of the characters.

As for the narrator, I am just impressed that he was able to give different voices to all the characters in the book! I have to admit, though, that he needs to work on his female voices, but regardless, listening to his narration was fun.

I am still yet to try reading her the traditional way, but I am sure this would not be my last from her.

This was book 1 in the "Black Ops INC" series. This was my first time reading this author. Journalist Jenna McMillan has been through a lot she was kidnapped and held captive in Buenos Aires by terrorists for months. Gabriel Jones life consist of bad guys and bombs he rescued Jenna and they shared a kiss. When these two are forced to work together when there is a bombing at the National Congress. Both Gabe and Jenna have feelings for one another. Jenna is a sassy redhead that I liked she was smart and independent. Gabe is afraid that he might lose his heart and soul once again if he fails to protect the woman he loves he is scarred both physically and emotionally but she doesn't give up. This book had a lot of action in it and I loved it as they worked together to find the bomber and stay alive. This was a pretty good read that I listened to on audio. This was also my first time listening to this narrator. I am looking forward to reading or listening to the next book in this series.
