The dishonored lady and the gentleman miner
I did not think the current rating of this book is doing it justice and should be in the 4+ stars. Lady Rosalyn finds herself in a nightmarish situation, being auctioned by a sadist viscount to his friends. Kyle Bradwell was an unlikely guest and the only person who interceded to help her. As the story continues, we see how an untitled hero full of integrity and strength of character continues to clash with a sadist and cruel man who uses his noble rank in the most despicable and self serving way. I particularly liked the exploration of the difference of classes and their impact on the relationship between a ruined lady and the son of a miner. I also enjoyed the pace of the story, the building of trust between the main characters, the eccentricity of their helpful friends and the final confrontation with the villain. This is my first book for this author and I'm now a fan. The narrator was pretty good as well.

Great!
I loved this book!
First off, unlike some audiobooks, the narrator was top-notch, with a lovely British accent that worked perfectly for the book. Secondly, the story was a little slow at first, but worth the work, because when the story crashes in, the characters are already well developed, which helps propel the story into greatness.
There are lots of twists and turns and complicated relationships which seem true-to-life. For anyone who loves stories which are sexy, but with deeper undertows that pull you into the storyline and characters, I highly recommend this one!
