Publisher's Summary

Paige Mattheson is reputed to be as beautiful as the alabaster sculptures she creates - and just as cold. An intensely private person, she is perfectly happy living by herself, until Jesse Dallas walks into her life. Paige's fierce desire for Jesse both exhilarates and terrifies her. And after spending six glorious weeks with him at her isolated beachfront home, she is a woman passionately in love. But can she trust this loner not to walk out of her life as easily as he has entered it?

HORRIBLE Narrator

After the first few words of this story, I almost stopped listening. I HATE the nasal, whiney, little girl voice of this reader. I hope Ms. Delinsky - and all of the other authors I like - NEVER use this reader again. IF you can get past the voice, the story is pretty good.

Terrible narrator

I'm sure this would be a great book, if it was read and not heard. The narrator sounds like a 6 year old child. After two or three paragraphs I just could not listen any more. The narration simply doesn't match the characters in any way.
