Publisher's summary

Seaside Summers is a series of stand-alone romances that may also be enjoyed as part of the larger Love in Bloom series.

In Seaside Sunsets:

Jessica Ayers has lived a sheltered life with little more than cello lessons and practices taking up her day. Now a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, she escapes the prim and proper symphony to vacation in the Seaside community in Wellfleet, Massachusetts, and determine if she is living life to the fullest or missing it altogether.

For the first time since developing the second largest search engine in the world, billionaire Jamie Reed is taking the summer off. He plans to work from the Cape and spend time with his elderly grandmother - and falling in love is not in his plans.

From the moment Jamie and Jessica meet, the attraction is white-hot. Once-overly-focused Jamie can think of little else than sensual, smart, and alluring Jessica, and Jessica discovers a side of herself she never knew existed. But when Jamie's business encounters trouble and his attorney and best friend intervenes, he proves that the blond beauty is too distracting for Jamie. To make matters worse, it appears that Jessica might not be who she says she is, turning Jamie's life - and his heart - upside down.

Unexpected Love!

Seaside Sunset by Melissa Foster is such a delightful listen. I loved how a thrown phone sparks the attraction between Jessica and Jaime. Both are career driven and wanting to find balance in their lives. The author writes incredible imagery in this book. I loved how she also included the ethic of accountability in this story and how well meaning friends can be detrimental to relationships. The feelings I got listening to this story were very realistic. BJ Harrison does an amazing performance in this book. His voice is smooth and articulate, and adds the right emotions and inflection. This story is a standalone listen. I will most definitely listen to more books by this author and narrator. I loved it!

Fun and flirty...

Seaside Sunsets is a fun, flirty, romantic read. Jamie and Jessica have this relationship that draws you in from the very beginning. I absolutely loved this book and all of the characters from the "seaside gang". Don't hesitate to buy this book, it is part of a series but can easily be read as a stand alone.

I absolutely loved the audiobook of this story. It was so enjoyable to listen to. B.J. Harrison has an excellent voice and is so easy to listen to.

Beautiful Story!

This is the third book in the Seaside Summers Series, a Small Town Romance. Jessica and Jamie's story is beautifully written, sweet, emotional, sexy, and heartwarming. They are both wonderful characters. This is a beautiful story. BJ Harrison did a great job with the narration. Looking forward to listening to Seaside Secrets, the next book in the series.

Set in my favorite location...The Cape

Once again BJ Harrison, the narrator, did an amazing job reading Melissa Foster's words to me. I lose myself in his tone, his cadence, and the words themself while listening to him read the book to me. I find myself learning new things about the characters when the words are spoken rather than me reading them. There are feelings and reactions that come through in a different way when you can hear the tone of the words rather than just read them on a page and imagine the reactions. BJ Harrison is the best narrator I have ever listened to.

There are many things I have come to rely on Melissa Foster for. The fact that I know that when I pick up one of her books, whether within this series or not, I will not be able to put the book down and when it ends I will sigh and be happy. Another is that I know that I will find my newest book crush and get to visit some of my old favorites. I also know that when I finish her books I will dream of them and think of them after I am done. Melissa Foster is an author that I never hesitate to recommend, knowing that she will entertain all my friends just like I always am.

Seaside Sunsets is set in my new favorite location, The Cape. It has all my favorite women enjoying their men and living life to the fullest. These ladies are my book friends; they are the people that I wish I could hang out with. As Jessica gets to know them all my heart is warmed with how accepting they are to her. They don’t question why she is at The Cape and who she is. They just accept that she is there for the summer and has caught the attention of eligible bachelor Jamie. The sparks fly immediately between Jamie and Jessica. The attraction is obvious, yet incredible sweet and sensual. Jamie, raised by his grandparents, has been taught to respect women and the respect he shows Jessica proves what a gentleman he is.

I have read all of Melissa Foster’s books in this series and each one is my new favorite. They keep getting better and better. When I see the email asking for a review show up in my mailbox, it is an easy yes and I put off all my other reads immediately. I happily recommend this book and this entire series to everyone looking for a fun, easy, and entertaining read.

Summers are beautiful!

There is nothing better than spending the summer with Melissa Foster at the beach in Massachusetts. Each one of her Seaside Summers stories just keeps warms my heart and makes me happy. This one especially hit home with Jessica, the cello player. I love anything to do with instrumental music and her story is so easy to relate to. An accomplished player, she is looking for a break from the busy schedule the Boston Symphony provides her with.Going to the beach sounds like the perfect escape. Jamie, an internet search engine developer, has taken the summer off to spend with his elderly grandmother, and he does not plan on finding love. But when he meets Jessica, all bets are off. Will these two find the love they so desperately want? Jessica is a fantastic character, knowing her passions but also knowing it may not be the only thing in life. Jamie is that warm, loving man we all want, but is easily led astray with the click of a button! Totally frustrating, he made me crazy!!!!! Foster lets us enjoy their journey as each finds their way, as well as giving us Jamie's grandmother who is a hoot! Loved every minute of this story as it gets me ready for summer!

BJ Harrison continues his narration of this series. I am enjoying his many voices, and the consistency he keeps between books as we have cameos of previous characters. He is a talent and a great performer.

Great story...

Seaside Sunsets is the third book in the Love in Bloom: Seaside Summers series. It can be read as a standalone. Jamie and Jessica are both successful and set in their careers. They both feel satisfied in life, and they both are craving some new connections. While taking a break from everyday life, they both end up at the same Cape Cod cottages. Will their connection be enough to keep them together? I enjoyed listening to this narrator. This is an excellent story that I highly recommend.

My Thoughts on Seaside Sunsets

Seaside Sunsets is my most recent listen from the Seaside Summers collection by Melissa Foster and it was a great addition.

Jamie and Jessica were such a sweet and enjoyable couple to hear about. From previous stories I got a good vibe from Jaimie but I loved really getting to know him in this one. I loved watching him open up and how kind he was to his grandmother and the way he handled difficult situations. He could own up to his mistakes and hold even people he loves and trusts accountable for their bad behavior when it counts. I found him to be a really admirable character.

Jessica was trying to deal with a lot of things when she met Jamie. She had a difficult decision to make about her future and she was also trying to do something nice for someone she loved. I found her to be a really nice pairing with Jamie. They had their differences but also seemed to be well matched.

Overall I just really find myself enjoying these stories every time I read and/or listen to one. Narrator BJ Harrison continues to give a great performance with his soothing voice that shows so much emotion and brings me so easily into the story.

I look forward to reading more and different things by Melissa Foster in future.

These characters are perfect together!

This is another great addition to the series by Melissa Foster. In this story you have Jessica, who is afraid she is missing out by living the life of a professional musician, and Jamie, a guy who is super successful techy guy (yes, I know techy isn't really a word) and has decided he needs a vacation. Jessica is technologically ignorant. Their meeting involves a phone flying through the air, someone getting beaned, denial of ownership and a quick lesson in technology. The meeting was one of the funny parts of this book and one of my favorite.
I think the thing I like most about Ms. Foster's writing is that her couples are just so darn cute together. You just can't imagine them being with anyone else. You also get to go back and visit the couples from the previous books. That is a real plus because they are just super cute together, too.
I've listened to many Melissa Foster books at this point. B.J. Harrison does a great job, but after so many, I kind of wish there was a different narrator because they all tend to sound alike.

Jamie & Jessica

Oh Jessica and Jamie. I read their story awhile ago and recently listened to the audiobook. As always neither Melissa Foster or B.J. Harrison disappoint.

Jessica Ayers takes a much needed vacation from the world of music, where she is a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Her cello has been her life for as long as she can remember and she’s always done what’s expected of her. She decides the Cape, the Seaside community is just the place for some serious soul searching. Is she living an inspiring and fulfilling life or merely going through the motions?

Tech giant and billionaire, Jamie Reed is giving himself the summer off and visiting his grandmother Vera who resides at Seaside. He’s friends with all the Seaside summer locals who’ve been coming there as long as he has.

This is a perfect chance to get to see our Seaside friends and experience more of their antics.

Jessica and Jamie’s first meeting is humorous and shows a glimpse into both their personalities when tech savy Jamie gets pinged in the head by Jessica’s airborne cell phone. Frustrated and clueless about technology these two come together.

The attraction is instant and neither is prepared for it. Thong Thursday had me laughing out loud. Leave it to Bella and crew, who willingly add Jessica to their friendship circle. This is a totally new and welcome experience for Jessica.

Of course true love never runs smooth and issues arise, thanks to Jamie’s manipulative friend and convinces him Jessica is a distraction he might not be able to afford. From there things spiral, secrets are revealed, trust is questioned and the couple is at a crossroads.

There’s plenty of laughs, heat, passion and love as these two must choose compromises and forgiveness or walk away for good.

It’s a perfect book to connect with as you get to visit the Seaside community.
