Publisher's Summary

I have one rule: Don't shit where you eat.
Several of the women in the condo complex I own would love some one-on-one playtime, and why wouldn't they? I'm young, fit, attractive, and loaded. Not to mention, I'm packing a sizable bulge below the belt. It's a combination that drops panties on a regular basis.
Yay, me, right?
But my cock, troublemaker that he is, has been confined to my trousers by my business partner. A concession I agreed to, and one that's never been hard to enforce until Emery moves in across the hall. She's smart, young, determined, and sexy as hell. I want a taste. I won't stop until I'm buried deep inside the succulent new-in-town brunette.
After being warned about my past, she does her best to steer clear, but I'm about to show her that underneath it all, I'm a guy with a heart of gold and a cock of steel.
My name is Hayden Oliver, and this is my story.
Screwed is standalone romantic comedy by New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today best-selling author Kendall Ryan.

3.5 Screwed Stars

I wish there was a 3.5 Star rating.

Because although I enjoyed the book I wouldn't say I LOVVVED it.
It's a great feel good fun read. You know the kind where your enjoying the book but it doesn't make you all emotional or fall all over your self to read and read and read again.

I loved that Hayden best friend was the one to call him out and tell him no more using the housing development as his way to pick up the ladies.
I enjoyed Emery's no nonsense personality. The friends to lovers is always a great read if done right and this was definitely done right.

Maybe it got lost in the audio why I didn't fall in love with the book. But I will say this.. I will give it another chance to up its star's when I do a relisten because I always do a relisten :)

A little disappointing (Warning...Subtle Spoiler)

I am actually a big fan of Kendall Ryan, owning many of her books both written and audio. I went into this with an open mind and high expectations. It was a cute premise, with the standard 2 broken people avoiding commitment. However, the build up of the story was so drawn out... with the climax and the wind up taking all of 5 places. From his major offense to the awww its ok I forgive you was WAY to quick.

The narrator did a pretty good job with the voices. However, with so many books out there with 2 narrators, I am more hesitant to spend the money on books with just one narrator when the book itself has multiple POVs of different genders.

Considering the length of the story and the story itself, I don't think its worth the credit. Please note that this experience alone is not enough to turn me off to Kendall Ryan. As I said in the beginning, I am a fan and have enjoyed many other books that she has written.
