Nicely Done

This is a nicely done, sweet, funny story that avoids (perhaps due to it's length) all the crap that seems to permeate most of the genre. Which is to say that it eschewed such staples as the old she's too good for me; she deserves better, misunderstandings, miscommunication, or believing random rumors for no better reason than useless drama. Jules and Gen are a great couple and Jules's friends Michael and Beth are good characters. The mystery stays mostly in the background and is pretty predictable if not cliched. I'm looking forward to the next release from this author.

- Me & My Girls

Short but good.

It is a murder mystery with an abrupt ending. The characters were interesting the story ends the moment the true killer is revealed, which majorly sucks. I was reading for the main characters not that.
