Publisher's Summary

Sleep, it was luxury I didn't have. I could hear it then, in the dark light of night, in the dusky morning; the click of the trigger, the smell of her blood, the sound of the rain. I never thought I would see her again. She was a ghost. She was dead. When Maggie Wright pushed her way into my life, she brought the phantom with her, and I was helpless to her pull. Everything I had, all of it, had been taken from me 10 years ago. I had nothing but the shirt on my back, the memories that still burned through my veins, and the regret I drowned in every day. I am Ryan Hartford...and I have nothing left to lose.

Heartbreakingly Beautiful!

What did you love best about Sacred Hart?

I loved how relatable the characters and situations were! It's emotional and messy, but so hopeful and beautiful at the same time. Truly an amazing book!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Sacred Hart?

When Ryan awakens after getting a glimpse of his future courtesy of Belle. It was such an emotionally gripping moment in the book and that sequence really grabbed my heart. It was the perfect combination of the past and present coming together and moving towards the future.

What about Teddy Hamilton and Vanessa Edwin ’s performance did you like?

Both narrators gave amazing performances, but Teddy Hamilton really stole the show as Ryan. He was able to really make me feel all the anger, pain, hope, and happiness warring inside of Ryan as he allowed himself to love and live again.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes! There were big, fat, ugly tears, but there were also lighthearted and happy moments too! The prologue alone nearly killed me! This book will definitely give you all the feels!

Any additional comments?

I loved this book, but keep in mind that it is not a light and fluffy read. It's definitely not all doom and gloom, in fact it's quite hopeful, but there will be times when you will probably need a tissue or two.

Great Story, Amazing Narration! 5 STARS!

This book broke my heart before Chapter 1 but thankfully it also mended my heart in the end. It had some hard situations and some serious heart break but I loved seeing how the characters healed and found a way to move forward.

Ryan is an amazing guy who is trying to deal with something no one should EVER have to deal with. He reacted badly but instinctively and is trying to find his way through that.
Maggie is a strong women and a great mom! I love how she trusts her gut about people and doesn't judge people by their past. These two had great chemistry and the way they helped each other made my heart smile.

The narration was incredible!!! I love all things Teddy Hamilton because he that guy next door voice and makes you feel all of the emotions! Vanessa Edwin blew my mind!!! I think this is my first time hearing her and she was great! Another female narrator with a incredible male voice, she will be on my watch list now. Perfect casting choice!!
