Although I have read this series, I loved it so much that I immediately purchased the audio and I'm so glad I did. Audios can either enhance or take away from a book based on the chosen narrators and I am so thrilled that Carly and Will did nothing but enhance this sweet and romantic story.

Kacie is a mother of twins that has been destroyed by the father of her twins and also by her own father. Although she is thriving, she isn't truly living. Brodie is a professional hockey player that, in a swarm of circumstances, lands on Kacie's porch. Kacie and Brodie have an instant connection but Kacie isn't nearly ready to risk her heart on someone, especially a high profile athlete.

This book is full of sweet and tender moments, mixed with angst and turbulence. Not only are the main characters thoroughly and properly built up, the secondary characters round out the story and create a completely enchanting subplot.

Carly Robins does take center stage with this story and I was so impressed with her performance. She not only manages to play 2 five year olds, Kacie, Brodie but also gives each secondary character their own voice so you always knew who was speaking. Will Danton didn't have quite as big of a role but what he did perform, he was perfect at. He made Brodie the masculine sexy man that he is but also managed to pull off the secondary characters with ease.

Total 5 star for me and I will be holding my breath until each book of the series comes my way.

Great Start to this Series!

This was a sweet and comfy listen. I love a guy who falls for her children at the same time as he falls for the girl! These characters were great, Brody is a guy who sees what he wants and goes for it & Kacie is a strong women who is careful with her heart and puts her girls first. Brody made me swoon when things get though and he does and says all the right things. These two have great chemistry and are very realistic. They fell like friends you've known your whole life. With some love, romance, drama and laughs this books left me feeling happy.

The narration was perfect for this story. Both of them were perfectly cast and did an awesome job at bringing this story to life.
