Publisher's Summary

Loving in fast forward....
Love on the fast track has been the definition of Harper and Deacon McCoy's relationship. In between studio sessions with Deacon's band, Oblivion, and building a new clientele for Harper's catering business, the newlyweds haven't had time to sleep, let alone have a honeymoon.
Deacon convinces Harper that they need a week alone together before her business, as well as a new album and tour, swallows them whole. Since Texas has always held special meaning for them, they head to Galveston to recharge and remember what it's like to just be a couple.
A beachfront cottage, hours of alone time, and plenty of skin on skin action is just what the rock star ordered - Until the future once again comes much quicker than they expected, threatening to crumble not only their perfect honeymoon but also their brand new marriage.

A short glimpse into Deacon and Harper's sex-fest.... erm I mean Honeymoon and, as you would expect, it was very romantic as these two Authors paint such a wonderful beachside getaway. However, things hit a rough patch when Harper wakes up one morning and realises that things are not as they should be and a surprising shock is about to change everything. She panics, has a meltdown and argues with the unsuspecting, concerned and innocent Deacon.

There are heart-to-hearts, emotional talks, tears and a decision has to be made that will affect the rest of their lives and through all the heartache this loving couple support each other and decide together what should be done. But the other members of Oblivion all have varying opinions and they're not quiet about it.

Dual POV's and wow Kai and Wen's brilliant narration bring the character's to life so each Chapter is easily visualised so you can create a mental image of all the unfolding drama. The scenes flowed so well because the conversations came across as natural with each of them sticking to their own genders.

Worth a credit? At $10.46 for just 4 hrs I did think twice about the purchase (well only for a nano second)..... but I'm such a fan of all the characters that make up Oblivion, especially the sexy Deacon, and I also went through all the ups and downs with them in Book 1 so I just HAD to have it. But I bought it and saved my credit for a more expensive listen.

- CAROLYN "I love being swept away by a new romance and thankfully Audible's ever growing Library means I get to indulge myself over and over again"

Excellent narration...

This is audio book 1.5, a novella in this series. It is a continuing story of music and love. in this book, a marriage and a surprise. This is a fun series to listen too and the cover of this book looks exactly as I picture the characters to look as I listen to the narrations.

The author, Taryn Elliott and Cari Quinn did a good job on this story. It is well written, believable and even has a good plot. Definitely well worth listening too! The narrators, Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott delivery another excellent story to us with their spot on multiple voices. They are narrating in real time (meaning, they are sitting side by side narrating), which is a real treat. I wish all dual narrations came this way!
