Rock Hard and Hot

Oh my God I loved this book and I love Sedric Lionheart. Sed is the lead singer of Sinners he is an egocentric narcissist who charms is way into groupies hearts and panties two or three at a time. Sed is also downright cruel and controlling and he has hurt Brian a lot by sleeping with all his girlfriends "except Myrna" never the less he is a talented performer and lyricist and very driven to take his band to the top and keep them their. Jessica Chase is the ex who broke his heart and gave bad is ring 2 years ago she was the one that got away. Sed and Jessica fell in love quickly, were engaged for a short period and because he didn't show support of her dream to attend law school she left, taking his heart with her. At the time of their short relationship the band was still struggling for success, money was tight and Sed was stressed, trying keep the Sinners afloat. There were a number of pressures that caused their break-up. But, in Jessica's eyes her fiancé wanted to control her life. Jessica is an extremely independent, intelligent, attractive and driven woman. In the 2 years since leaving Sedric Lionheart she has attended school working extremely hard to attain her goal of becoming a lawyer. One of Jessica's scholarships is running out so she must look for a way to earn a substantial amount of money over the summer break. Her best friend and roommate Beth convinces Jessica that working as an exotic dancer is the best way for her to earn money quickly. Admirably, Jessica refuses to get into debt or be reliant on anyone to pay her way. She therefore accepts a job as a stripper in a strip club. Little does she know that this is the catalyst that will bring her face to face with Sed again. I loved the story of Jessica and Sed he never stopped loving her and she still loves him also. Sed doesn't know how not to take control in situations. This book had some really hot sex scenes and their love of public sex has gotten them in a really sticky situation like the sex at The Venetian in Las Vegas was recorded and post online by a fan and it caused problems for Jessica at school. For Jessica Being around Sed triggers all of her lusty wants, and she can't deny that the attraction is still fierce between them. I love reading this series and I can't wait to read the rest I bought the box set and I thought that Trey's book was 5,but its next. I was also glad that Sed realized what Trey was up to and helped him

Erotica is served

Where does Rock Hard rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

middle maybe

Would you be willing to try another book from Olivia Cunning? Why or why not?

yes, because I want to find out about the other guys in the band

Which scene was your favorite?

there was one than one, always times when the bandmates had a moment of closeness with each other

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

no

Any additional comments?

This book seemed a little much at some parts like all that stuff with her professor. I like the bandmates and like to see their interactions with each other. I'm definitely going to continue the series.

I think my ears melted a little with this one ;-)

I enjoyed this book as much as the first. The characters are all funny and have some layers and depth worth exploring in the other books so I can't wait to listen. This one was literally riddled with steamy dreamy love scenes...one right after the other, and I loved every second! The voice of Sed was a bit like Trace Adkins, but whatever :) Olivia Cunning has a new fan in me! Sinners ROCK!

Stimulatingly Sexy!!!

I could not get enough of this book. The book opens with boy loosing girl because of his macho, caveman persona. Sedric Lionheart, the lead singer of the Sinners, is so thick headed that it takes two years and several women later for him to realize that he lost the only woman that could ever satisfy him in every way. Jessica, the love of his life, is done with his controlling ways and wants to take charge of her own life. Jessica has supported Sed with his dreams but she could not understand why he didn’t support hers. They were compatible sexually in that they matched each other’s needs tic for tat, but its Sedric’s controlling nature that sets them apart. Although he loves her, he doesn’t know how to love her and allow her to lead their own life. Such is the case with the band. Sedric is the leader of band and therefore the leader of everything. Throughout the story, Sed learns there are things that are just beyond his control.

I really enjoyed reading this book. The character of Jessica reminded me of someone of knew from my college years who danced her way through college. I can only imagine how her boyfriend felt seeing men gawk at her. Jessica’s character stressed me as well. I could not stand the way she kept second guessing herself. She was never assertive when she needed to be. Jessica never questioned her sexuality. She never had to be coaxed into asserting her voyeuristic nature or how and where she liked to be pleasured. She never had to with Sed because he was intuned with her body and her sexual needs. But outside of the bedroom or sex, Jessica was weak and allowed herself to willingly accept defeat. I guess this is where the writer had to show their compatibility. Where Jessica was weak, Sedric was strong and vice versa.

This book is a good read and I can’t wait catch up on the other band members.

Book 2- ok

I read this book a year or 2 ago and thoroughly enjoyed the series. I Nannie listening to the stories on audio.

I enjoyed Sed and Jessica's story, but the communication issues were a pain in the ass. They were both so juvenile that I thought of stopping the book many times, but I persevered. In addition, while I appreciate sex, these two can't seem to stop at any point. Jessica hated that she was videoed but couldn't stop having sex in public- what's up with that. Anywho- while they were a pain as a couple, I enjoyed the book and audio..moving on to the next one.

LOVE SED!!!

Loved this story, love this series. HOT HOT HOT and really fun. The only really negative thing I have to say about this is that the narrator makes all the girls sound much older than they are. Her voice is good, and works, just sounds better for Myrna than the other girls.

Amazing Book, Lots of Love and a Great Story!

I just finished the Rock Hard: Sinners on Tour Book 2 and could not wait to tell everyone how good it was. It was even better than Book 1, if that's even possible. It had a lot of hot, romantic scenes and a very good story to follow. I couldn't stop listening to the book, I took it with me everywhere. I would highly recommend this book if you want something to keep you on the edge of your seat. I can't wait to start the next book in this series.
