Publisher's Summary

From the New York Times best-selling author of the Marked Men books comes the next installment in the Saints of Denver series.
Everyone else in Dixie Carmichael's life has made falling in love look easy, and now she is ready for her own chance at some of that happily ever after. Which means she's done pining for the moody, silent former soldier who works with her at the bar that's become her home away from home. Nope. No more chasing the hot as heck thundercloud of a man, and no more waiting for Mr. Right to find her; she's going hunting for him, even if she knows her heart is stuck on its stupid infatuation with Dash Churchill.
Denver has always been just a pit stop for Church on his way back to rural Mississippi. It was supposed to be simple, uneventful, but nothing could have prepared him for the bubbly, bouncy redhead with doe eyes and endless curves. Now he knows it's time to get out of Denver - fast. For a man used to living in the shadows, the idea of spending his days in the sun is nothing short of terrifying.
When Dixie and Church find themselves caught up in a homecoming overshadowed by lies and danger, Dixie realizes that while falling in love is easy, loving takes a whole lot more work, especially when Mr. Right thinks he's all wrong for you.

5 Riveted STARS!!!!

Dixie and Church are phenomenal I loved there story so so much. I think I like that Dixie was a ray of sunshine. Maybe because I relate to that, sure life can be hard and get you down but there is always something to smile about. :)

And being able to make others have a smile because of something you did or just a kind word. Well I feel like I try and do that every day. And Dixie does it too. Sunshines through her and I think that was one of the reasons Church found it so hard to step back and keep his distance from her.

He was always watching her even if he didn't want to admit it to himself he was already falling hard for the pretty girl with the crazy hair.

I feel for Wheeler, but I love that Dixie takes him in like a big brother, even if her sister is the one to have broken his heart. Dixie was there with a kind word and a couch to crash on.

I think I knew right then that Church was head over heels for Dixie because he was soo green with jealousy. ;)

LOVEEED the narration sooooo hard. I actually said to my husband this man’s voice is smooth, so smooth I want to rub it all over my body. Yes he looked at me like I was crazy but I am telling you listen and you will understand what I am saying! So I am going to be looking for more books by Sean. And Stephanie does a fabulous job with Dixie loved it.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

One sitting listen

This was one I could not turn off. Church has always been the sexy man of mystery that I just had to know more about and I was not disappointed.

Dixie was always kind of a background character so I didn't know if I was going to connect with her but I totally did. She is just a normal, independent girl that is trying to live up to her family's history of finding Mr Right, knowing right away and living happy ever after. The problem is, her Mr Right is the ever elusive Church. He is dark and broody and quiet and mysterious. Never letting anyone in until he needs a favor from Dixie that she just can't say no to.

You throw in a lot of action and intrigue, tons of panty melting sexy times and the sweetest romance and you have Church and Dixie. This audio flew by as I held my breath to find out if those 2 would pull it together. Start to finish, perfection.

SEAN BASSETT! SEAN BASSETT! How do I even explain the perfection that his voice brought to Church's character. I don't think I could ever take to pages and read this book knowing that Sean Bassett's voice could be narrating this book for me. His southern drawl and deep, rough timber made him the absolute perfect fit. Stephanie Wyles had to step up in order to equal out the level of talent from Sean and she totally pulled it off. She made a perfect Dixie, turning an everyday girl into a character full of heart and love.
