great start

loved all the danger mixed in with a great love story another winner keeps you guessing till the end

Good Story

This was a great read. Love this series. The characters are interesting and the storyline is exciting. This is a Bear shifter romance adventure.

Could have been better

This story could’ve been so much better. The hero and the heroine seem like they got along great however there wasn’t any real conclusions. Let’s not forget about the fact that the backstory of the great aunt was never fully explained in detail. I mean we could’ve had so much more story if an in-depth look at the great aunt and who she was and why she left the house to who she did. In addition the strange things going on in the house was not explained fully. Like there was this interesting back story that could have been fully explored, but we are left wondering. Even the heroine’s mother insinuated as much, but we got nothing. Other than that this was a pretty decent book with great narration.

cute shifter murder mystery. it had a HEA that was different than I thought it would be. narrated fairly well

Unbelievable

I have to admit that I was not impressed. Maybe it is just me, but I thought it was too short, and it didn't make a lot of sense. First, the female protagonist is a nutcase. She finds her husband, the bear pack's leader, dead in his study with a man in the room with him and instead of screaming the house down she rushes to his side. Now, if it was me I would scream first and run from the room until help arrived. To make matters worse, she and the man (her husband's murderer?) escape the room by going out the window. Then she proceeds to run through the woods to get away (she is human). Everything that comes after this is equally ridiculous to me, as you can't really come back from that.

Jeremy and LIly have to work together

Lily was married to a man she didn't love but liked because of her father's situation she had no choice in the matter, after being with him this long she did care about her husband Harold but she felt more for his brother but it was just friendlier. After work in her garden she comes into her home and finds a man standing over her dead husband. The weirdest thing is that when the guards come into the room and accuse her of killing her husband she runs off with the man she thinks killed her husband. Jeremy thinks this young woman killed her own husband and is blaming him he only remembers being at a lake to get a drink of water. He is as confused as she is. They end up arguing about who did it while he is trying to help her make their way to his home so he can talk to his alpha on how to proceed. Some suspense, action and romance. I own this audible. I am providing an honest review. Audible.

Very good

I found this audiobook to be a very good listener. It has a great combination of suspense, drama and romance. The narrator has done a wonderful job reading this book.

Interesting Story

The story, while relatively short, was a great listen! If you like shifter books, you should definitely check it out. Lily, a human, marries a werebear to keep the peace in her town. When her husband is murdered chaos ensues. Fearing she will be accused of the murder, she flees with a rival bear shifter who was also present when she discovered the body. While sorting out the mystery of his death, Lily must deal with the affections of multiple werebears, her brother-in-law and the rival bear she escaped with. Who does she choose and who is the murderer?
The narration was good, but not great. Basically just the narrator telling the story.
