Alana MacGregor craves excitement, but when her sometimes lover dumps her at a popular sex club, she wonders if she’s outgrown her live-fast-and-recover-later lifestyle. The last thing she expects is to run into the nerdy guy she rebuffed in high school - or for him to rock her world in ways no other man ever has.
Hot on the trail of a story, Carter Nicholas can’t believe his luck at encountering the one woman he’s never forgotten. He’s come a long way from being a wall-hugging geek. Now he gets all A’s between the sheets. But can he convince Alana he’s her sure ticket to an unforgettable night - and maybe much more?
Alana MacGregor is unceremoniously dumped by an occasional lover at a sex club, and she's licking her wounds when she suddenly runs into the last person she'd ever expect to see: the nerdy guy she rejected in high school. But Carter Nicholas isn't the same geek he used to be, and he's eager to prove it to the woman he's never forgotten. Narrator Isabelle Gordon's performance is sensual and luxurious, and she turns up the heat as Alana and Carter discover a passionate chemistry. Her supple voice captures the layers of emotions in this story, dripping with seduction one moment and softening with vulnerability the next.

Whoa What a Geek!
I purchased as Isabelle Gordon reads this book and the sample was good.
this was a short story that did not disappoint. A hot fast great listen. I did purchase the sister book, that is an 8 hr. listen. That book will better tell if this author can write the distant so to speak. This short story was very well done for the recording time. Hot!
I.G. A.K.A. Gabra Zackman has such a yummy male voice, that I purchase almost all of I.G. listens as they tend to be the hotter and faster pace reads that this reader does.
I would not say move me, but there were some pretty hot scenes for such a short story.
