Publisher's Summary

Magnus is a man of contradictions - a spiritual leader in a warrior's body. To him, laws are for enforcing and visions must be followed - even if that means freeing a beautiful slave and making her his reluctant handmaiden. Betrayed once before, Magnus can barely bring himself to trust another woman. Yet Daenaira's fiery innocence is drawing them both into a reckless inferno of desire. Daenaira grew up hearing tales of a fearsome priest who seemed more myth than reality. But Magnus is very real - every inch of him - and so is the treachery surrounding them. Beneath Sanctuary's calm surface, an enemy is scheming to unleash havoc on the Shadowdwellers, unless Magnus trusts in a union ordained by fate, and sealed by unending bliss.

What the Critics Say

"The steamy passion Frank is known for takes on an educational edge as the abused heroine discovers her powers. The spicy sex is punctuated with deadly danger, making this one hot [listen]." (Romantic Times)

Looking in Shadows for a Dweller

I wasn’t really sure if I wanted to purchase this book because of Ecstasy, the book before this in the series. It wasn’t that I didn’t like Ecstasy; it just dragged in places and didn’t get really good until half way through the book. But Rapture, ohh Rapture was excellent from the beginning. Daenaira is a strong, loyal, dedicated heroine that fights for everything that is right and just. Magnus is everything that I want my dominant men to be in a romance, strong, passionate, and willing to be vulnerable to their counterparts. The sex scenes in this book are tender and erotic at just the right moments, especially the first time Daenaira and Magnus came together. That scene was almost heartbreakingly beautiful to me. Love Love Loved it!!!!

My girl Kristen, as always did a fantastic job. She is definitely in my top five of favorite narrators.

- Lisa "Love to read and get lost in my books! I started listening to audio books about a year ago (as I work-out) and love it- keeps me exercising. I then usually buy the good ones and read them all over again."
