Lily and Sandy

Sandy, a rancher, lost his wife suddenly. Lily, a teacher, has gone through a divorce and miscarriage. They meet when Sandy picks up his child from school. This short book was a slow build. I am glad the author did not drag out any angst. Chantelle Clarke did an OK job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

ok story, ok narration

This story and writing was OK. the author could have done so much more with the characters and situations. it had a lot of potential. The narrator did a good job but her accent was distracting and took me out of the story continuously. I had a hard time envisioning the characters with her narration. then I got into her narration and the author reminded us what the character looked like and I would get major reality check.

Cowboy romance

Sweet and charming romance. School teacher and the cowboy. A sweet young boy plays unwitting matchmaker. Pleasant reading. An audio copy was provided for my voluntary review. Forgot that I had already read and enjoyed the book. Nice listening to it, too.

too much interference

Sam, Lily's dad was an ignorant selfish old drama queen. He denied his daughter her happiness because he didn't get his way centuries before. Wth??? I didn't care for Lily running off either. Stay and face your problems like an adult. Amy was a jealous twit that needed put in her place. Poor Sandy had to chase lunatic Lily across the country!!! Why??? Good ending for a lot of foolish people. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job.

Good.

Wanting to get far away from the divorce, for a new outlook on life and maybe a new love. Things don’t go smoothly. Good romance audio, and narration. Given audio for my voluntary review
