Publisher's Summary

Sam "Mozart" Reed's life changed the day his little sister was found abused and murdered when he was 15. He's spent the past 19 years looking for the serial killer who took his sister from him and ruined his family. Using his connections, and SEAL training, Mozart believes he's finally tracked the killer to the town of Big Bear, California.
Summer Pack is working in a crappy motel up at Big Bear Lake until she can find something better, more meaningful, more real. Living in an unhealthy situation, she meets a man who is everything she's ever dreamed about and who helps her see that there are some people in the world who will actually do what they say they will.
But somewhere in Big Bear a killer is waiting to strike again. Watching for the perfect victim.

4hrs 55mins into the story

**one huge ass eye roll**
This author has SUCH potential. These audiobooks are short (about 5hrs or so). I think if the author lengthened her stories she could take that time and flesh out her story. She could take the time to give the characters believable dialogue. She could take the time to let her characters fall in love rather than the instalove that has happened in EVERY SINGLE STORY. She could take the time to decide what the hell she wants to call her characters because the constant switching between nicknames and real names is too much.

The stories are actually ok but could use some tweaking to raise the bar. At one point Fiona said that Joseph was creepy. and the author kept switching back between saying it was Alabama. Alabama was drunk in her room. Fiona said it. The editor failed on this one.

The bad guy was almost every cliche possible. he stank, he licked her, he abused her, he did a few other nasty things to her. This all came out in a matter of 10mins. He went from a shadow to to jack the freaking ripper in the blink of an eye.

I challenge the author to not use the following in her future books.

** mine
** his woman or their women
** her man or their men
** protect you with my life
** embarrassed
** i see you
** SEAL (big protective SEAL, Don't worry he's a SEAL, etc...)
** nick names and or pet names. If two people are in a room having a
conversation the characters don't need
to constantly say each other's name. I KNOW WHO THEY ARE TALKING TO.

story - 2
narrator 2.5 (she wasn't as good in this one. Her guy voices need work)

ps - i hate that the books try to build up the sexual tension only to not deliver. STOP TEASING ME!! Either have your couples have hot monkey sex or not. That whole "you aren't ready so I just wanna cuddle" makes me wanna slam my head into a wall. You already have them tripping into instalove where's the great sex? I'm not saying write a damn SEAL orgy into the books but a satisfying sex scene would be nice. Do it right or don't do it at all.

pss- during the act of unprotected sex is a bit late to be talking about safe sex and if the person is clean etc...

Another great one

I'm actually glad I stumbled on these series late as by the time I found it all the audio versions where released. I've been loving listening to all the Seals find their women. Susan writes amazing and interesting stories while Stella does an outstanding job of narrating them. If you like good audio books don't miss these. If you prefer to read this a must read series you don't want to miss
