Publisher's Summary

Tex gave everything he had to his country and his SEAL teammates. When an IED took away part of his leg, and his career, he devoted himself to his country and friends from behind his computer. He's always been the man that can find anyone, that uses his computer skills, legal and illegal, to keep people safe and to put the bad guys behind bars.
But behind a computer is a lonely place to be. While he might put on a good front, Tex can't help but feel he's missing out when he sees how happy his friends are. But when the woman he's been talking to online for the last six months suddenly disappears without a word, Tex knows it's time to step up and use his skills for himself this time.
Protecting Melody is the seventh book in the SEAL of Protection series. It can be heard as a standalone, but it's recommended you hear the books in order to get maximum enjoyment out of the series.

Pretty Good

The story overall was pretty good. I figured out who it was pretty quickly. The narration was pretty good, except I could hear her swallowing and it kind of threw me out of the story. Lastly, I felt like Melody loved her dog more than Tex. At one point I was like "do you even care about your man????" Loving the dog was sweet, but she focused way too much on the dog and not enough on the hero when it was important.

One of the best of the series

Would you consider the audio edition of Protecting Melody to be better than the print version?

I didn't read the print book so I can't really say, however the audio was really good.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the hero. In all the series I've heard about Tex and he finally gets his happiness. It was a treat to ride cross country with him and Baby.

Which character – as performed by Stella Bloom – was your favorite?

Tex, of course.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I did listen to it in one sitting. It was very well put together and as soon as I heard one part of the story I knew who the stalker was. I liked to see all the SEAls band around Tex even though he wasn't a physical presence in all of their missions - just a cyber member.
