Short But Very Sweet

I thoroughly enjoyed this short story. Some people may complain that it really has nothing to do with Pride and Prejudice but to me it's an extension of the original Jane Austen novel and takes us to the next step in the story. Now that the couple have eventually declared their love for one another the constraints of social etiquette frustratingly prevents them from fully expressing their feelings and passion. They must wait until they wed.
P.O. Dixon's writing style and Pearl Hewitt's easy listening voice are a perfect combination for a great listen.

Senual and toe curling

Where does Pride and Sensuality rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I can't decide where Pride and Sensuality ranks between Pam Dixon's books as they are all really really good!

What other book might you compare Pride and Sensuality to and why?

This lovely short story could compare to maybe certain places in "To Conquer Mr. Darcy" by Abigail Reynolds

Which character – as performed by Pearl Hewitt – was your favorite?

Fitzwilliam Darcy and Mr. Bennet - so brilliantly performed by Pearl Hewitt! Mr. Bennet was there to ensure that Lizzie and Darcy didn't totally lost all sense of propriety even if he left them to their own private company.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Did listen to this in one sitting, as it was short and really good! The passionate scene between Darcy and Elizabeth made ones toes curl in either embarrassment or expectation from what was going to happen next!
