Great Listen!!!

Typically I do not listen to young adult/new adult books. I enjoyed listening to this book. I thought the narrator did a very good performance with the characters since most of them were college age. This book has some great humor and strong friendships, plus an original storyline. The story has some unexpected twists and is very well done. The author was new to me, while I have listened to the narrator before. I received this free audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Sweet Baseball Player and The Girl He Comes to Love

"I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review."

Saylor is going to college where she is going to be forced to develop some relationships, at least with her roommates. She is very uncomfortable forming close relationships, yet is a very loving and caring person.
Saylor lands up sharing a house and, living next door to a group of friends established in high school. For the most part she was included and learned to develop friendship. She and the star baseball player, Deacon, fall for each other..despite misunderstanding, some pain they have their HEA. A storyline with some different twists.
My first book by this author...I would like to read more...there was suspension and angst, but not too much. I'm certainly interested in what happens with the secondary characters as they were interesting.
The narrator has a deep voice which is enjoyable to listen to but he doesn't use emotion always in the best way and don't like his female voices very well...tries too hard.
