Publisher's summary

Blake Davis and husband Will are delighted when Ed Fellows turns up at the hospital the night their daughter is born-even if he is covered in mud from playing rugby and drunk out of his skull. Teammate Colin is the Good Samaritan who drives him there, and when he takes Ed home, Colin finds himself on the receiving end of a blowjob. He has no problem with that whatsoever. He's been in lust with Ed since Ed joined the rugby team some 14 months ago. Only thing is, Colin's assumed up 'til now that Ed is straight. Except the man sucking him off certainly didn't seem straight....

Talk about the morning after the night before....Ed awakens to find a nearly-naked Colin asleep on his sofa. The problem is that for some reason, he can't get Colin out of his mind. Okay, so it wasn't the first blowjob Ed's ever gotten from a guy - or given, for that matter - but that was a long time ago, right? And why does Ed now want more?

With friends Rick, Angelo, Blake, and Will to advise him, Ed finds himself on a completely unfamiliar road, as he struggles to accept that maybe the line he is walking isn't as straight as he'd first imagined...

Fantastic!!!

The best book in KC Wells Personal series I loved this book and listened to it twice. The struggle these two characters had in dealing with societies notions of their sexuality was done extremely well and did not distract from the love story between two strong individuals. The book was great and is a must read.

Very Romantic

loved the book both 1 and 2. I really liked Ed and Collin. I thought Ed a right bastard in the beginning, though.

Loved Ed & Colin, 5 star narration!

You know what I love about this book? Yes, there’s hot British rugby players, but that’s not it (though it doesn't hurt LOL). And sure, we get to see more of the guys who were the main characters in the previous books in the series (I’m a sucker for revisiting favorite couples later on to see where they’ve been and where they are now). But it’s Ed Fellows who quickly captured my attention with his rough, masculine ways and attitude, and his “what the heck” approach to the feelings he’s developed for his teammate Colin.

Ed may not know what to do with his feelings for Colin, but Colin is very aware of his own feelings for Ed—feelings he’s had for quite a while now, but never acted on since he thought Ed was straight. Or at least he did until one particular night…

The chemistry between these two is hot and it was pretty entertaining getting Ed’s side of things as he starts experiencing a relationship with Colin-both physical and emotional. When I read the book, I was totally taken with the two of them together, but listening to the audio made their story even more appealing.

Cornell Collins does an excellent job with the narration, I absolutely LOVE his accent and the way he brings Ed to life with his more gruff and more heavily accented voice made this a delight to listen to—it really helped emphasize the differences between Ed and Colin. The pacing was perfect, and this is one of those audiobooks that when someone would come over to me while I was listening, they would get my “are you really interrupting me right now???” look.

Personal Secrets is a great addition to this series, and I really enjoyed reading and listening to this story. The story itself gets 4.5 stars from me, and the narration is definitely a full 5 stars. This book is meant for readers/listeners who are 18+ for adult language and sexual content.

Love the series

I wasn't sure about Ed "turning" gay, but it was well done. I love this series.

Sneaky romance

If you could sum up Personal Secrets in three words, what would they be?

Interesting, Humorous, Steamy

What was one of the most memorable moments of Personal Secrets?

I loved Ed's eye-opening moment of realizing that it's okay to want Colin.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Cornell Collins?

Yes, I wasn't sure about the performance at first, but as the story progressed, he grew on me. Especially when I learned the age group of the characters.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, the story pulled me in and I actually did listen to the whole thing in one day.

Any additional comments?

Ed and Colin's story held my interest, particularly the way neither wanted more than friends and lovers, but love came sneaking in to surprise them both.

So steamy

So this book doesn’t have the drama or suspense like the other two, but omg the erotic scenes were sooo good

Really enjoyable!

Story: 4.5 Stars!!!
Narration: 4 Stars!!!
Overall: 4.25 Stars!!!

I was intrigued by Ed ever since I read Making It Personal, he seemed like such a fun, easygoing guy. Seeing him in More Than Personal with Colin made me even more interested to read their story and as it turned out, it was my favorite of them all.

Ed considers himself straight, even if he’s fooled around with guys in the past, but it isn’t until he gets drunk one night and he convinces Colin to share handjobs and blowjobs with him that things change for him as he’s unable to stop thinking about Colin, to the point where he’s unable to perform with one of his old girlfriends.

Colin has been attracted to Ed since Ed joined the rugby team they’re both on, but never thought it’d amount to anything. One night changes it all and now they both will need to navigate through building a relationship while dealing with a homophobic teammate and helping Ed with his issues regarding his sexuality.

I loved Ed! He was hilarious and I loved his interactions with his friends and with Colin. He’s just one of those characters you can’t help but fall for. I liked Colin a lot, but there were a few things that made me want to slap him just a bit, like the whole bit with his ex. Still, the chemistry between Ed and Colin was unbelievable! Hot, hot, HOT! I just couldn’t get enough of them together!

I loved that Rick was there to provide Ed with a very needed sounding board to help him through his issue and it was lovely seeing Angelo, Blake, Will and baby Sophie.

I really liked the audiobook version and Cornell Collins' narration. He has a nice, smooth tone and did a fantastic job with all the different characters that appear in the story. My one problem was Ed's voice, while I'm aware he has a very thick accent, it was a bit difficult sometimes to understand what he said. I actually had to rewind a few parts to understand what I was listening to. Other than that, you really can't go wrong with this book, be it reading or listening to it, you're in for a treat. It's funny and hot, with just a bit of angst thrown in for good measure and the narrator did it justice. Highly recommendable!

Liked these characters a lot, made me laugh!

If you could sum up Personal Secrets in three words, what would they be?

Hot rugby players

What does Cornell Collins bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The voices/accents really matched the characters and brought out their personalities, as well as the humor and emotion of the scenes. I enjoyed Mr. Collin's narration a lot through books 1-3, and for this book in particular.

Any additional comments?

The rough edges of Ed and Colin made them memorable and very likable. Having the characters involved from the previous 2 books really tied the relationships and friendships together and gave me that warm fuzzy feeling.

I Liked It

I liked the story and even though this book is part of the series, I was able to enjoy it as a standalone. I liked both Colin and Ed and enjoyed their relationship development as well as Ed's adjustment to his sexual revelations. Narrator did a good job with the story and I liked his voice for Colin and most other side characters. However I did not care much for Ed's voice, he sounded more sexy in my head and it was hard for me to understand at times. Overall this was a good listening experience.

Sweet and nice

Audible version review

Personal Secrets is a sweet MM Sport Romance story; my first by author K.C. Wells. After I began listening to this book in Audible , I realized that this book it's part of a series.

I liked this story but didn't love it. There were plot twist that were very weak and unnecessary.

I liked Cornell Collins narration and different voices in his portrayals . Only exception was Ed , one of the heroes , his voice didn't match with my image of him. He sound it older than his 36 years old and very ordinary.

Overall, it's a nice and entertaining listen.
