Rook is chasing her dream - film school and a chance at a life beyond the one she ran from six months ago. But before she can become the girl she wants to be, she must deal with the girl she left behind.
Ronin is also chasing his dream - a family of his own and a life away from erotic modeling. And he too, has a past he's trying to forget. A past that makes Rook question everything about their life together.
Lies, secrets, and shocking truths will rock the foundation Rook and Ronin have built. Can they put the past behind them and move forward together? Or is this just another too good to be true relationship that will crash and burn in the end?

Good wrap up

Loved this almost as much as the others. No real steamy scenes, but a good wrap up. One thing that bugged me: Chaput was pronounced differently in all three books. You'd think they could get that right.

Love It!

The first time I read Panic: Rook and Ronin Book 3 I thought it was the end of the series and I wanted more. Now listening to the audio I know there is more to the story. However, my heart jumped and fluttered, and felt sad and happy at the same time just like it did a couple of years ago. I still love these characters. The story, even though I know everything that happens, is still fresh and makes me want more. My heart still hurts for F’ing Ford. I’m happy for Rook and Ronin and anxious to find out what will happen to Spencer and Ronnie. I want to be on their team too.

Troy Duran and Jennifer Reilly are the perfect narrators for Rook and Ronin. Troy’s words float around in my head in a way that paints a picture of this couple finding their way in the hills of Colorado. Jennifer’s voice is perfect for Rook, a young girl who suffered much while still retaining some of her innocence. I love the way they tell this story that allows me to live it in my imagination.

Julie A. Huss is one of my favorite storytellers. I love the way she takes the romance genre and makes it her own, unique, tale and always adds a twist or two that I don’t see coming. Her characters are flawed yet perfect for the story. Rook and Ronin (all eight books) are one of my all-time favorite series. I will keep these audios on my iPod and listen to them often. I highly recommend the books and the audios. You won’t regret it.
