Cassie's quick thinking and courage come into play in a deadly confrontation and Dusty finds himself rethinking staying single all his life. What starts out as a summer visit to his uncle's outfit turns into a life and death struggle for survival in the high country. The mountains are a jealous mistress and, although many come to enjoy the bounty, not all are allowed to leave.

Horse Lovers Will Appreciate

If you are a horse lover who appreciates spending your time packing your horse and riding trails at a snails pace, this book is for you. The story is OK, the narration is barely OK, but the horse packing trivia and "cliche" characters are a bit annoying. "I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Blast."

Pack Saddles & Gunpowder great read.
