This wolf mates for life....
Nina Reyes knows trouble when she sees it, and Lex Warden, Enforcer for the local werewolf pack, is nothing but. When her brother gets in too deep with some dangerous wolves and comes to Nina for help - dragging superalpha protector Lex into her life - she can handle it. She might have put her grifter past behind her, but she's still got what it takes. If only she didn't find Lex - his body, his scent, even his domineering nature - so intoxicating.
As Enforcer, it's Lex's job to protect his people. Nina might be more capable of handling herself than he initially thought, but that doesn't mean she's safe from their enemies. His need to protect her is more than just pack business - Nina, a human, is his mate. Bedding her once is not even close to enough; to satisfy his wolf, he needs a true bond.
The heat between them scares Nina, but sometimes the reward is worth the risk, and the thought of living without Lex terrifies her more than any threat the werewolf mafia can pose. Lex will do anything to keep her safe. And when the Rogues catch up to them, he'll get a chance to prove it....

I love the Cascadia world that Lauren Dane has created. It isn't like any other wolf shifter world I've read before. The best part for me is the mate bond because normally I do not enjoy insta-love in books but because they are wolves and it's in their make up to have one true mate that they know instantly it sure makes these books so easy to get on board with.
Lex is the Pack Enforcer, he is a hot tough guy who isn't expecting Nina to be his mate. Nina is a human who has been thrown into the pack due to things beyond her control. He is demanding and bossy and she is tough and lippy... perfect match as far as I'm concerned! I enjoyed the story line is this book and getting to know more members of the pack.
The narration is just ok. I would have loved if they had dual narration of this series. Tanya Eby does a good job on Nina but she has a "prim & proper" motherly sound and I would love to have a male voice for these hot tough alpha wolves.

What did you love best about Pack Enforcer?
I loved that the main female character was not a stupid, whinny, run into danger character. She kicked ass and took punches and was smart. I recommend this a good read.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The scene where she felt betrayed by the pack was a crying moment for me. It hit home.
