Ten years ago Jenna and Tanner, better known as Janner, were Hollywood’s ‘It’ couple. They were each others first love but after Tanner betrays Jenna she moves out of their apartment and refuses to speak to Tanner again. Now, former model Jenna is trying to become a full time actress and gets a big break in the form of the lead role in a highly anticipated romanctic comedy - the catch - the other lead is being played by Tanner.
Erin Mallon and Rupert Channing are superb in this. I’ve listened to a lot of books read by Erin but this is my first one with Rupert and I was not disappointed. Both brought life and longing to their characters and I thought both had great timing and pitch perfect inflections to the scenes.
I really loved this one by Laurelin Paige! She writes some of the best romance that is both hot (the sex scenes!) and tender. I was drawn in to the story and was really rooting for Jenna and Tanner - who had amazing chesmistry (I loved the part where they are filming the fight scene in the movie - I was completely enraptured while listening to it). Neither character is perfect, but they really are perfect for each other. I smiled and laughed out loud a bunch of times while listening to this audiobook! I highly recommend it!!!

One More Time is a flirty and sexy second chance romance. Jenna and Tanner are thrown back together to make a movie after a very public breakup 10 years earlier. From this premise comes a fast and hot story of regrets, misunderstandings and maturity that shows how first love conquers all. Tanner is the perfect blend of popular, hot male actor and tender, compassionate partner. Jenna on the other hand, is beautiful, loving but insecure. These two have combustible chemistry and the story has a fun and easy flow. I especially loved Jenna's best friend Walter, the voice of reason and good advice. With laugh out loud scenes as well as steamy scenes, this book is a pleasure to listen to.
Erin Mallon, who is an amazing narrator brings Jenna to life with her uncertainties and bravado, as well as sporting a very good aussie accent for the character of Tanner. My first Rupert Channing listen, and he is amazing as Tanner with an easy pace and a wonderfully melodic voice. Give this one a listen!
