I have loved Charlotte North's narration for the last 3 books and look forward to her work for the next 4 in the series. She is clear, expressive, and brings the characters to life.
Admittedly, I wasn't a fan of Matthew Holland in books 1 and 2. I really can't put my finger on why, exactly, but I just wasn't a fan. However, that unknown something changed in book 3. Maybe his narration style has grown on me like a song you have to hear a few times before it becomes one of your favorites? Holland's style definitely personified Lincoln Caldwell's personality.
Story wise, Sawyer Bennett spun an emotional and sexy tale that had me crying, laughing, and fanning myself at times. Fantastic!
I liked this book. I like how it continued a couple years down the road from the first two with being able to hear how Ryan and Danny's lives are progressing, and hear about Emily and Nix as well.
This one was a clear emotional ride trying to watch Ever navigate thru her emotional triggers and brick walls, and watch LINC mature and find his true north too.
Book 3 in Sawyer Bennett's 'Off' series follows Nix Caldwell's brother, New York Rangers goalie, Lincoln as he tries to break down the barriers that Ever Montgomery has built around herself following betrayals from both her father and her ex boyfriend. The question is, will Linc be able to forgive her when she finally sees the light? Written in dual POV, another beautifully written, entertaining and sexy read from Sawyer Bennett. I just can't fault this woman.
