Publisher's Summary

#1 New York Times best-selling author Nora Roberts presents a passionate story from the thrilling Night Tales series.…Her voice was like whiskey, smooth and potent, but it was her contradictions that fascinated Detective Boyd Fletcher - the vulnerability beneath her tough-as-nails facade. Late-night radio announcer Cilla O'Roarke was being threatened by a caller, and it was Boyd's job to protect her no matter what. But the sultry deejay was getting under his skin, and the undeniable attraction that sizzled between them concerned the detective…because anything could happen on the Night Shift.

"OK STORY LINE, HORRIBLE NARRATOR"

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Absolutely, main character is a winer and hostile about everything.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Give the main character some common sense.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

She was terrible! She made the main character sound like a cry baby.

Could you see Night Shift being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

No way!

Bad Narrator

Bad narrator. Bought a number of Nora Roberts most of which were narrated by Rudd and only listened to a few. Normally I can listen to bad narrators but Rudd is beyond what I can even tolerate.
