Intriguing Listen

At first, Night Owl seemed to be falling into the pattern of so many YA books - kind of a meet cute, someone is damaged, sex heals, then breakup and reunite. But there is so much more going on here. Hannah and Matt are co-writing a book over the Internet keeping their names and details of their personal lives secret. It takes one little slip up, sending from a wrong e-mail account, for Matt to attach a face and a name to his mysterious co-writer. The story takes off from there - online chats lead to phone calls lead to meeting, and sex, yes, lots of hot and heavy sex. But Matt has secrets, and once they are revealed, the book takes a whole new turn. No spoilers here, but trust me, it adds so much more to the book. This basic story is resolved here, but the epilogue sets the stage for book 2 of the series. Quick listen - I liked it.

Julia Duvall did a good job with the delivery of the story.
