Publisher's Summary

Once a devoted children's librarian, Jane Jameson now works at a rundown occult bookstore. Once a regular gal, she's now a vampire. And instead of a bride, she's an eternal bridesmaid -- which leads her to question where exactly her relationship with her irresistibly sexy sire, Gabriel, is headed. Mercurial, enigmatic, apparently commitment-phobic vampires are nothing if not hard to read. While Jane is trying to master undead dating, she is also donning the ugliest bridesmaid's dress in history at her best friend Zeb's Titanic-themed wedding. Between a freaked-out groom-to-be, his hostile werewolf in-laws, and Zeb's mother, hell-bent on seeing Jane walk the aisle with Zeb, Jane's got the feeling she's just rearranging the proverbial deck chairs.
Meanwhile, Half Moon Hollow's own Black Widow, Jane's Grandma Ruthie, has met her match in her latest fiance. He smells like bad cheese and has a suspicious history of dead spouses. But Jane's biting her tongue. After all, would a nice girl really think she has a future with a vampire?

Great series!

If you want a hot and steamy romance, this isn't the book for you. However, it's absolutely hilarious! I laughed out loud multiple times while listening to this book. Couldn't wait to start the next one and bought the next two immediately. My only criticism is that some of the character voices that the narrator used were annoying.

Very entertaining!!!

I must say that ordering these books by Molly Harper White was a laughable choice. I laughed so hard at the one liners and found the books to be so entertaining. I will keep an eye out for more by this talented author!!!

Second in the series

The story is weak tea, with a "twist" you can see coming a mile away. However I think the narrator fits the tone of the story perfectly - her female voices are great even if most of her male voices sound the same. I wish the author would stop using the word 'spazy' which someone so well versed in language should know better than to use, but otherwise this is light, fluffy fun

Great story!

Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed this instalment in the series! Things are getting tense between Jane and Gabriel with Gabriel away a lot and not telling Jane where he's going or what he's doing. She's also being propositioned by a high school crush and not telling Gabriel about it plus she's not really discouraging her crush either at first.

Things are also tense with Zeb and Jolene due to interference from Mama Ginger and 'playful' hazing from Jolene's family. Mama Ginger is quite obsessed with her belief that Zeb and Jane should be together and is quite hilarious at times with her antics (of course Jane, Zeb, Jolene and Gabriel don't find them too funny!).

I also found it very amusing when we discovered what Dick' vampiric gift is! There's further drama from Jane's family too as things escalate slightly between her and her sister and Grandma Ruthie (who has a new 'fiance' who's not what he seems). We also learn about Mr. Wainwrights family origins which are a little surprising!
