A wonderful story of love and romance kept me on my toes was sorry to hear this story end

I really enjoyed this historical adventure romance story. there was never a dull moment in this audio book!

Liked It But....

I know this is a “romance”but I was surprised by the number of “romance” scenes. The story itself seems to exist only to string together one to the next, and to set the stage for each. Which is sort of a shame because I rather liked the story and how it was written. I also liked the characters. The narrator turned in a very fine performance. If she felt creepy reading “those” scenes, she hid it well. The dialogue was believable and not cringey. It does border on smut because we accompany the lovers on their honeymoon and pull up a chair to watch from a darkened corner.

I like series novels. They are romantic as well as interesting. Andrea Kane likes to do this, in keeping you in suspense.

very well written. I was mad, scared, and sad a couple times. It finished no loose strings. which is hard to find in a series.

A Well Done Goody

I laughed, I sighed...this was a full on delight. Andrea Kane did it again with witty characters and lush descriptions. I deliberately took my time and savored every chapter though I could have raced through it. When you have a rich story that you want to continue on forever it is precious as is My Hearts Desire. Discover the joys within for yourself.

Entertaining Voyage

This was a fun well written romp that kept me entertained throughout. I especially liked the couple and the well-written steamy scenes which were extremely well done. Once you get past the first chapter it takes off from there. A new favorite!!!!

Great story

Enjoyed the interplay between the Captain and the stowaway. Interesting strong female character for the time period portrayed. Unfortunately the author spent a lot of time describing the sexual encounters between the two.

I enjoyed during a snowstorm

This and book 2 kept my interest during a snow storm, did both in 3 days. Strong smart women! Narrator was easy to listen too. I have just started another Andrea Kane, the narrator is Fiora MacDonald I am 9 minutes into it and will have to stop as I can not STAND her voice.
