Get ready to ride....

Tyra Masters has had enough drama to last a lifetime. Now, she's back on track and looking forward to her new, quiet life. Until she meets the man of her dreams. The tattooed, muscled biker plies her with tequila—and the best sex of her life. She knows it isn't the tequila and hot sex talking. He's the kind of man she's always wanted. Unfortunately, he's also her new boss....

Kane "Tack" Allen has a rule. He doesn't employ someone he's slept with. So when he learns he spent last night in bed with his new office manager, he quickly fires Tyra. Yet when Tyra stands up to him and fights for her job, Tack is intrigued. He tells her she can keep her job on one condition: no more sex. Ever. But as things heat up between them, Tack finds that he'll be the one breaking all the rules...

Holy Mother of Delicious Hotness!!!

Motorcycle Man, is the story of Kane"Tack" Allen and Tyra "Red" Masters. The magnificent Kristen Ashley does it again. Amazing characters, wonderful story, beautiful epilogue. I definitely recommend purchasing this last installment of the Dream Man series. This story begins with Tyra a smart, classy chick, who has been living off of her savings for the past two months after leaving a toxic work environment. Tyra decides to take a job at Ride a motorcycle & car shop but before showing up on her first day she goes to a wild Chaos biker party and meets Tack, the leader of the Chaos Motorcycle Club and owner of Ride. Tyra & Tack laugh, party, and have the best sex of her life and she falls HARD for Tack. In her mind, he’s her dream man, until he kicks her out of bed the next morning without even a goodbye. Unfortunately, on Monday morning when Tyra shows up to work her heart is stomped on even more, but Tyra’s one feisty girl and she’s not about to let some "biker dude” walk all over her! Problem is, Tack doesn't employ tail he’s hit, but Tyra is adamant about staying on board. Tack eventually caves on this and gives her a shot. This feisty Tyra, or “Red”, as Tack calls her is unlike the girl he met at the biker party, and now that he sees that, Tack has no intention of letting her go. Tack & Tyra have amazing sexual chemistry and Tack is such a sexy dirty talker. It works. It works really well. The dialogue between the two becomes more and more intimate, as Tack is surprisingly sweet. Kristen Ashley books are really something special. She writes from a very honest place. Her characters resonate deep emotional truths that just plain ring true. She writes heroines who are so real. They are strong, beautiful, flawed, smart and always full of fire. Tyra was no exception. She had fears and insecurities but those were drowned out by how wonderful she was. So kind and accepting, with a heart of gold. Tyra and Tack together is perfection! Their chemistry, love, banter, passion, humor, all of it is off the charts! I loved this book...it's my favorite of the Dream Man series.  I truly believe that no one writes a better alpha male! Hot, bossy and possessive to the max, Tack is something else!  5+++TACK-riffic STARS!!

Great story.. on paper

What made the experience of listening to Motorcycle Man the most enjoyable?

The cast of characters are interesting. The story is well crafted, a good mix of hot, steamy characters, humor, and heart.

Would you be willing to try another one of Kate Russell’s performances?

She almost turned me off this series. I listened to the first book and wrote it off because of her 'voices' just doesn't match the characters. I read the 2nd book and liked it enough to give this series another chance. Too bad Russell is reading all the books in the series. It's hard to listen to Tack and Tyra's cartoonish voices.

Great story, but the narrator ruined it.

Any additional comments?

Wow, based on all the stellar reviews, I am surprised by how much I disliked the narrator for this book. I've read MM several times in print and was pretty excited to get a chance to listen to one of Kristen Ashley's books. The sample had only Tyra's voice, so when the narrator got to Tack it was an unpleasant surprise. There was absolutely no hint of his "deep, gravelly voice" and though I know the narrator is a woman there are a number of other woman narrators out there who can do a great male voice. This one can't. Additionally, she frequently gave a jersey accent to a greater or lesser degree to many of her characters, including, at times, Tack. Such an accent is completely off base for a Coloradan originally from California. Simply awful. My advice is to stick with Kristen Ashley's books, which I love. This narrator only detracts from her stories.

Good story, bad narrator

Would you listen to Motorcycle Man again? Why?

I'm a fan of Kristin Ashley's books and looked forward to listening to this one. I could not get through it due to the narrator. Her voice was annoying and she over emphasized everything she read. It really spoiled the story for me. Hoping any future books of Kristin's will find a different narrator.

Best in the Dream Man Series!!!

I love Kane "Tack" Allen!!!! Hands down the best Alpha Male from the Dream Man Series... with Hawk bring up a really close second....This book is the best of the series, I think... It was like Mystery Man but a bit better, and that was really hard to do, b/c Mystery Man was really high up there on my badassness meter!

From the open chapter, when Tyra and Tack fought about her job on the steps to the end on the picnic table in the RIDE parking lot.. this book was AWESOME... capitalized!

The way Ashely wrote this book, you can just feel the emotions and testosterone of Kane "Tack" Allen so clearly...

I loved all the drama.... the fights and action and the smexness of Tack Allen.. See I can't stop saying his name!!!

** Sidebar: Since I actually listen to Own the Wind before I listen to this, to get the back-story of Tabby and Shy in full technicolor was awesome... When Tabby talks about when Ty-Ty almost got hit with the bat...well that chapter was sweet.. when Ty-Ty gets stabbed, that part was EMOTIONAL! I love the fact that I now have history on Tabby, Shy, Elliot and Lanie, and Hopper!!! I so can't wait for Fire Inside...** Sidebar over.

I really can't find one bad thing to say about this book... Nothing... It was perfection... hence the 5 stars... So wish I could rate more than 5 stars, which I don't do too often...

Narration was great... same narrator for books 1-3 in the Dream Man series... Actually I kinda wish the narrators would have changed with each book, because all the female characters sound the same from book to book... SO a bit of adjustment is required if you are listening to these book back to back... HOWEVER, I rather have the same narrator instead of 4 bad narrators...so I am satisfied...

This is a must-have in your audiobook collection... Buy it, Credit it or Sale it... anyway you can get it...GET IT!

Happy Listening!!

Wrong narrator for this book

I loved this book when I read it, but narrator, although good in her own way, is not good for this book. She kept using a Brooklyn accent when characters are from Colorado. Tack's voice is supposed to be low and gravely and instead sounded at times like a young surfer dude and at others like a gangster from New York. Sorry but I wish I hadn't wasted a credit.

Finally on Audible my favorite dream man!

Finally we get Motorcycle Man on Audible!!! I feel like I've been waiting forever. This is Tack's story and he is one hot alpha male! He is like a 15 on the alpha scale of 1-10. This is the BEST book in the Dream Man series and that's saying something - every book KA writes is amazing. Her words with Kate Russell's narration is absolutely perfect.
This was a great ending to a fantastic series. I'm just sad it's over. I'll be in Dream Man withdrawal for awhile....

4 Motorcycle Man Stars

Again second time reading this been a few years, but I have to say Tack is not someone you forget like ever.
Tyra, oh the drama this one brings. I love it because Tack needed someone that would keep him on his toes without being a raving lunatic like his ex.

Though I will say I liked Tyra’s spunk the woman sure knows what she wants and if Tack doesn’t put up or shut up she sure made it known what she wanted. But again not in the way of his lunatic ex. For dang sure. I love how momma bear Tyra got over Tacks kids. Even teenagers need the love of a good woman after years of their mom.

You have to respect a man like Tack who brought his club in to legit holdings and was there for his brothers and made it so they wouldn't feel the hit in the mula department too. Tack is just aces.

Again I liked Kate’s narration of this story, but I wasn't a fan of her Tack voice. It wasn't bad per say just liked her other men voice better. Still a fabulous listen though!

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

BRILLIANT..... SIMPLY BRILLIANT

From the start this was a book I just couldn't stop listening to and, as it gathered momentum, I was swept into an unusual but heart achingly beautiful love story. So, if you haven't already discovered this AWE (and then) SOME series then you've been missing out on captivating, compelling and enjoyable listens. However, if you have discovered the gripping Dream Man world then you already know what a thrill ride they are and I personally think that KA kept the best til last - yes, afraid so the last.... (oh where's the tissues).

As 35 yr old Tyra recovers from a wild night of tequila and sex she knows she has met 'the one' but the trouble is he's Tack the drool-worthy, tattooed, bad-ass, Alpha President of the Chaos MC Club and he's used to nameless one night stands so suggests "she closes the door on her way out" (outch). Devastated but determined Tyra starts her new job and introduces herself to her new boss..... surprise Tack. Then the sparks and quick-witted comments fly along with moody sexual tension and attraction together with the first buds of romance. But unfortunately, apart from their own, there's many other battles and heartbreaks ahead for them and the Russian Mafia, a misguided friendship, a b*tch of an ex-wife and her husband are all going to make a devastating impact upon their lives.

It's hard to put into words just how perfect and multi-layered this book is - yes it's packed full of drama, snappy quick funny and beautiful dialogue, passion, sex, raw emotion, heart stopping chapters, a wealth of great characters, a misunderstood Hero you'll fall in love with and, under the magical penmanship of KA, the hours will fly sweetly by. It's left me overjoyed with the content, happy with the ending but bereft that it's over (again, where's the tissues).

Thank you Kate Russell, you are a gifted Narrator because you breathed life into every character giving realism to every word they uttered and every emotion they felt so I could easily mentally picture each scene as it developed which added a extra dimension to this well loved story. This could be a stand-alone listen but characters from previous books do make their appearances from time to time and, to get the very best from this series, download book 1 then hold on.... because you'll be in for a gritty, powerful, amazing, roller-coaster ride as each woman finds her dream man somewhere along it's twists and turns.

Worth a credit? KA's fantastic Dream Man series has now sadly reached it's conclusion with this listen about love, understanding and redemption but the good news is that her new spin-off Chaos series is about to begin. It'll be an auto download for me starting with Own The Wind which is Tabby and Shy's story who are characters from this book which is far and above a 5 star listen and babe, this is so creditworthy it hurts, you get me!! (sorry Biker talk).

AMAZING!!!

“Truth, honesty, perseverance, strength, love of all kinds and forgiveness are all beautiful, Tack. The most beautiful stories ever told are the most difficult to take.”
Tyra Masters

The truth of that quote really says it all! Tack Allen and Tyra Masters story is a shining example of that truth!

Kristen Ashley just rocks with a keyboard and rocks it hard! I have LOVED everything she has written.

As for Kate Russell (IMHO) she is the voice of the Dream Man series! She puts forth plenty of character into her narration!
