Four years ago, I had it all. But one mistake cost me everything. It cost me her. Anna. Now, I've got the money and the fame. And the emptiest life on the planet. Then I see her again, backstage after one of our shows. And that's when I knew - she's mine. She'll always be mine. My second chance is here. And this time I won't blow it.

Fantastic MUST Listen!!

I love the 6th Street Series, having read every book. But this is the first audio I've purchased. I cried. Big fat ugly tears. This story is so moving. At first I was intent on reading, because that is my pattern (read a little, listen a little). But these narrator just sucked me in. The brought Sean and Anna to life in a way I couldn't imagine. And don't get me started on little Willow. As for the review, Missing From Me is the most true to life story second chance love story I've heard in this genre. It was so real. Sean's character...what can I say? He was flawed and damaged but his love for Anna shined through the entire time. This couple so deserved their HEA. I can't wait until the next book. I've already ordered it. Jayne Frost is a fantastic storyteller.

4.5 Stars for this Rock Star Second Chance Romance

I listened to the audiobook version of Missing from Me and am so enamored with Jacob Morgan's voice! Listening to his voice and his point of view chapters just had me completely in love with Drummer Sean. Even with his 'guy wrongdoings' throughout the story I immediately forgave him, because of that voice! This Rock Star - Second Chance - Romance is so good, I even want to change my name to Annabelle so my hubs can call me her nickname in the book hehe or Willow!

This was my first book to read/listen by Jayne Frost and I am definitely picking up more of the books in this series and I cannot wait to read Logan's story (coming out next)! Jayne's writing had me falling in love with this band along with Sean & Anna of course! If you love a rockstar, second chance romance pick up this book!

FANTASTIC! THE ONLY THING I'M MISSING IS BOOKS 1+2

This audiobook was gifted to me for an honest review.

Honestly, one of the best stories I've heard in a long time. That includes those from favorite best selling authors. I can't say the plot was totally new but the execution and twists were perfect as Sean and Anna navigated their way through a thunderstorm of emotions and roadblocks. I found my sympathy balancing between them as both made mistakes and had false misgivings. Jayne Frost was able to override the fact that I hadn't listened to the previous books and give me enough information to understand the backgrounds of Sean's band members. The only questionable relationship that wasn't given closure was that of Anna and her best friend Payton. In the end, the person I feel the most disdain for is Logan, Sean's best friend. I know there's a lot of pain behind his aloofness but Geez, he could have been more helpful! I'm betting he'll be the center of the next installment.

Jacob Morgan was Sean. Period. Absolutely the best voice choice. And ditto that for Elena Wolfe. Both are top-notch narrators and prove it in this audiobook.

PUMPING BOTH THUMBS UP HIGH!

Tu me manques...

Can I say how much I enjoyed it?
Annabelle and Sean's journey to HEA is quite turbulent and with lots of heartache, but the love between them is real and what keeps them bonded. Many secrets, unresolved issues keeps them apart until their paths cross again then truth comes to light, but lost trust is hard to recapture. As all the layers of this complex relationship are revealed, you cannot help but cheer them on to beat all the odds and see their little family reunited.

Great choice in narrators, Ms. Wolfe and Mr. Morgan made this listening experience very enjoyable. Love their voices and how well they matched the characters, the emotions well defined.

My Thoughts on Missing From Me

This story was full of so much angst and emotion I found myself close to tears often. But it's just because the story was so well written and the characters were real. The emotion was real. And the narrators helped really bring it to life. I heard the happiness, sorrow and everything in between in their voices. I will absolutely be looking for more from this author and these narrators.

WOW!! The whole package!!! Loved it!!!!

Obsessed!! That’s the best word to describe my feelings for this series. Each book in the Six Street Bands just keeps getting better!

Sean and Anna’s story has been my favorite so far. This is second chance romance at its best!!

Jayne Frost takes you on an emotional journey packed full of love, betrayal, heartbreak, self-discovery, and redemption. She pours her heart into these characters giving you so many layers of their history and the future they both deserve.

With his band, Caged, finally catching it’s ticket to stardom, Sean is amped to go on tour and make a name for himself. But when his long-time girlfriend decides she can’t go because of school, Sean’s world folds before his eyes and he makes one of the biggest mistakes of his life. Now four years later, he’s face to face with his past and the constant reminder that he made the wrong decision. Only Anna isn’t the same girl she used to be and the years apart have solidified that both their lives have taken different courses. But the mere presence of his past has Sean coming apart at the seams. He’ll do anything to prove to his Anna-baby that she’s the only woman he’s ever loved. Anna isn’t ready to get swept back into this sexy rockers electric orbit, the last time left her broken and she’s still picking up the pieces.
Their connection isn’t only combustible, these two have their hearts tethered by an invisible current, so no matter how hard they try, it’s inevitable they are bound to come together. But now the stakes are higher then they’ve ever been before and both have more to lose then the first time around.

This was an epic read that had me completely consumed. I honestly couldn’t get enough of these characters, their story, the passion and the raw intensity of every moment.

Jacob Morgan was phenomenal as Sean!! He seriously had me swooning so hard every time he called her Anna-baby and the way he became Sean’s character. He nailed his performance!! And Elena Wolfe was amazing as Anna! Awesome narration on top of an unforgettable story! AMAZING LISTEN!!!

Loved the story… Loved the narration!

Good Lord, how can anyone say no to Sean? I mean, watching him get to know his daughter and love “his girls” is the sweetest thing… I think I fell in love with him! His heart is so big, so tender, he’s achingly sweet. He’s such a conflicting man. Where he is sweet and…, the women in this book are strong, they are fierce. Chelsea and Sean… sigh; they had this conversation that ended with me bawling like the baby I felt like. Poor Chelsea, she’s just tired of people leaving and not being there… for their family.

This is my first book by Jayne Frost… I’m addicted now! There was this depth to this story that made it a compulsive listen. I wasn’t able to stop listening. The issues were so every day problems that we could all understand. I loved her flawed characters… they are so immature, so self centered, so selfish but once they get pushed a bit… their hearts open. The story is beautiful!

These narrators could not have been any more perfect. I love Elena Wolfe’s voice. It is one I could listen to daily. She completely portrays her characters. It’s like she channels them in and becomes them! Jacob Morgan was just as perfect! He could make me laugh out loud so hard with how expressive his voice could be especially with Logan and doing Logan’s voice. This pair is amazing together!

nothing missing from this story...

Would you consider the audio edition of Missing from Me to be better than the print version?

Absolutely...the narration of Jacob Morgan and Elena Wolfe was amazing. The emotions portrayed by both narrators were above and beyond and took this book to the next level. If you were just reading the book you would not have felt these characters.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Missing from Me?

The ending of the book, I will not give anything away but how Sean displayed his love for Anna again was amazing. I loved how he finally broke down his walls for her and hers too.

Which scene was your favorite?

I loved the scene when Sean first to Anna to the house and she saw how much of his house was about her. From the Willowtree to the house looking out over the lake. She may not have been willing to see everything at that point in the story but it really was about her when he built the house.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I had so many emotions in this book, Willow's innocence made me laugh and smile at times. Other times I was in tears from the heartbreaking hurt caused by miscommunication and lack of communication in this book. There are so many feels in this book, buckle up it's a ride.

A book that wretched you before it put you back together

I always wanted to listen to this book but I thought I should wait for Book 1&2 but recently listened to a interview with Jayne and she said you can start with Book 3 and what a journey it was. I was so wretched through it that I wasn’t sure I could survive it. Jacob Morgan’s versatility always astounds me and him as a little girl is officially my favorite. Such a book hangover and worth every minute of it.
