Good continuation... This review will focus heavily on Book 1, 2 and 3. So if you haven't read those... you may be confused..
I do believe the order of these book can be shifted around...or the plot from all the books are either happening at the same time or just before/right after one another. Although these are stand alone books, the main action from this book was also in book 2.
I am a bit confused on the order here... And in book 2 at the very beginning, Flint (from book 1) gave Rena to Steel. There was no mention of Flint's (human) female.. so I am not sure if Steel's story was just before Flints or right after.
However, in book 2 Fiona (female cyborg) tried to join a family unit with Steel when they where rescuing them... But in this book... we meet Fiona again and she is really, really trying to join a Family Unit with Iron. Dawn (female heroine) was not having that so she attacked Fiona... but here is the thing... Where is Steel and his crew, now that Iron and his crew is now rescuing Fiona and her crew...???
Anyway... Dawn was a kick butt mechanic and Iron was well cold as Iron.. but they made a great match. I love. love . loved the slight bondage scene when Iron had to strap Dawn down...
This book was well worth the Credit or Sale.. even a Buy depending on if you are invested into this series or not...
Narration.. yet again was awesome...!

Male lead cyborg (Iron) with red hair sees & grabbed short anglo 36 y.o (Dawn). female with red hair that is a master mechanic. Falls for her kidnapper and has lots of sex. Laurann Dohner fans will not be disappointed.. One statement gave me pause. Iron was having a heated converations with a cyborg female he had sex with awhile back. She wanted to make a family unit & give Iron's human female away. The statement describing the female cyborg. " The cyborg skin was too dark to be pretty" Didn't sit well with me..
