Publisher's summary

Paige Spears was on her way to a job interview when she first met Diane Hunt. The two of them made friendly conversation while waiting for their breakfast, and Diane ended up asking Paige to come work for her for the summer. Paige was reluctant about beginning her corporate career anyway, so she jumped at Diane's offer.

As luck would have it, her first assignment was to spend a week in Myrtle Beach with Diane and her family. Paige quickly found herself in a car with a woman she'd just met, headed to a place she'd never been, and about to be on a vacation with people she didn't know.

She thought she'd make the best of it and enjoy one last summer adventure before joining the real world. She had no idea this trip would change her life forever.

The people felt real

Diane Hunt meets Paige Spears in a coffee shop. After sitting and talking for a while Diane convinces Paige she must work for her over the summer and that it needs to start on her family vacation to Myrtle Beach.

When they get there Paige meets Diane’s grandson and feelings spring up and snowballs out of control for both of them.

I usually don’t love stories about a single parent, but this one was really good.

I loved the Christian aspect. It was present but it wasn’t pushed.

This was a quick paced relationship, that definitely could be considered insta-love, but for some reason it didn’t feel that way. Their relationship seemed natural to me. Maybe because they had really good chemistry. I loved it.

Sweet story

Lovely little story. A nice escape from the stress and hassles of everyday life. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

Great Book!

Any additional comments?

This is a great book; this is the first book in the Hunt Family series written by Brooke St. James and narrated by Kate Rudd.

The narrator Kate Rudd did a wonderful job with this book. She did a great job with the different voices of each character in this book. It was very easy to listen to in one sitting and I didn’t want to stop listening until the end.

If you are looking for a great book with well-developed characters then you need to listen to this book. I am looking forward to listening to the next book by this author and narrator.

A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

Meet Me in Myrtle Beach

What a cute and fun listen!
Paige takes a leap of faith with a woman who offers her a fun-filled week at the beach. I loved how she trusted that this woman was going to do her right. Paiges’ own family had a hard time believing it but she is an adult and makes her own choices.

The family vibe this book gives reminded me of one of my favorite series Virgin River. I didn’t want to put the book down but of course, I had to sleep, but this morning I jumped right back in and le sigh it was great. I can’t wait to jump into book 2.

The narration is phenomenal I love Kate Rudd and her voice, the way she tells a story it just sucks me in.

Great, clean romance!

A wonderful introduction to the Hunt Family series, Meet Me in Myrtle Beach is a lovely, clean read for those who enjoy romance. The range of ages among the characters, as well as the intentions behind their actions, makes this a fun read for any age even though the protagonist is a young adult. I'm particularly fond of first-person narratives and St. James writes well in this point of view. Rudd's narration is appropriate and enjoyable. Short reads have their place, but this was delightful and I found myself wanting more...guess that works well for St. James introduction to a series, huh? Definitely recommend!

Everything was great!

The narrator is a perfect tone for the story. The story was steamy without being compromising. And it was overall a great story. I loved it. Got it on Escape, but definitely am gonna outright buy it. A good one to listen to again and again!

Loved it

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

yes. I would recommend this book and any of this authors to anyone.

Any additional comments?

Twice in several weeks I've read this book on ebook and listened to it on audiobook. I have read and love the whole series. I love her books I started reading your books several weeks ago and I've already read the Hunt Family Series and the All in Good Time Series and just started the Martin Family Series. I would recommend any of her books.

I can't put her books down I just keep reading one after the other. I think she is a great author. I hope she keeps writing books. I have read all her books on Kindle Unlimited. So thanks for putting them on there.

I won the audible audiobook from the author.
