Publisher's Summary

I was her first love, and I'm going to be her last....
On paper, I've got it all - good looks, good friends, a killer business, and gorgeous women throwing themselves at me from every corner of the globe. But I still can't get one woman out of my head.
Her. Adeline Klein, the sexiest little smartass in wire-rimmed glasses and a polka-dot bikini to ever bring a man to his knees.
God, she was something....
But I'm pretty sure she hates me. I've tried to track her down, but it's like she dropped off the face of the earth. Then one day there she is - stranded on the side of the road, waiting for rescue, like Fate has arranged for me to be her knight in shining armor all over again.
Only she would clearly prefer to kick me in the balls. Or the face. Or maybe the balls and the face simultaneously. But do I let that keep me from making her come on the slopes or dampen the fire that flares between us every time we touch?
No way. Because some things - like sweet, wounded women with hearts of gold and souls of pure platinum - are worth fighting for.
Meant for You is a steamy standalone second chance romance with a swoony HEA.

Romance with an unexpected paranormal twist

What did you love best about Meant for You?

I loved the witty banter between the characters, especially Nate and Addie. Mitch and Shane also brought some wonderful comic relief.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked that the book kept me on my toes. I'm not normally a fan of paranormal, but I thought it was an interesting addition and that it fit well with our characters. They are so quirky, especially Addie, that it complemented their second chance romance well.

What about Kitty Bang and C.J. Mission ’s performance did you like?

There was so much emotion and feeling in their narration! Both gave amazing performances that had me invested in the story, but I was most impressed by Kitty Bang's male voices! Her Nate was incredible!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes! I was drawn in right from the start and couldn't wait to find out what had happened to Nate & Addie! The story took some unexpected turns, but overall, this was an enjoyable second chance romance.

Any additional comments?

If you're not a fan of paranormal at all, this may not be the book for you. I wouldn't classify this as a paranormal romance, but there are enough elements woven into the plot that it's worth mentioning. Also, the cover of this book/audiobook is really confusing since it features a man in a suit and that really has nothing to do with the book or characters. I guess you could just imagine it's Nate, but it just seems like an odd choice for this book.

Another great MB series book!

Lili has done it again with her latest book in the "Magnificent Bastard series (MB)". While each of these books are standalones I do recommend reading the others as the characters from other books are mentioned so you can catch up on the lives of the other characters. Don't worry though if you haven't read the other books, you aren't missing much if you just right in with this book, there isn't a subplot that you miss and these characters are just minor players. I still recommend going back and reading the other books as they are different than this book though but just as funny.

Now onto this book's review, I am huge Lili Valente fan and try to listen to any of her books when they are available. This book was different from her other books in the MB series as it wasn't quite as funny and it dove into the paranormal realm. I myself am not a fan of these types of books but I found that the way Lili handled this was tasteful and not overdone and I found myself liking the book and enthralled. It wasn't over the top and still had humor and kept me interested. I would recommend this book to anyone even those who aren't normally into these types of books as it still contains Lili's normal humor found in the other MB series while diving into the paranormal realm to satisfy those that want to dive into that light version of that type of book as well.

The narrators both were right on point with their performances bringing light to the situations they were in. This was my first audio book my Kitty Bang and I enjoyed her inflections and tone and thought the way she brought the character to light was on point. This was my 2nd book by Cj Mission and again his performance was great. You could feel his emotions through the performance. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another audio of either of these narrators.

I am sad to see the Magnificent Bastard Series end but excited to see where Lili Valente takes us to next!
