Publisher's Summary

Book Two in the Wolfe Brothers series. This is a continuing story. The series is best listened to in order.
Nate's three-day-old son is dead. Now he finds out the town gigolo has his sights sets on Emily, his little sister. Except she's not so little anymore. She's a woman and unfortunately, not immune to Jags' womanizing stepbrother Ajay.
Turns out that Star is not the pretentious, frigid snob Jags thought she was. He's fallen for her. Which sucks since she's determined to marry another man.
And Cam makes plans…. for murder.

Would you listen to Maybe (Book 2) again? Why?

I would listen to book 1 and 2 again, and I am about to listen to book 3 and 4!

What other book might you compare Maybe (Book 2) to and why?

This is a love story, mystery, thriller....with a supernatural twist and a tad of erotica....I cant compare it!!!

Which character – as performed by Ian Murray – was your favorite?

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Laugh, cry, scream....and I was on the edge of my seat A LOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any additional comments?

** I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review **

Lita Stone is an excellent writer, I am super impressed with this series and her generosity to allow me to review/listen to these books for free...this book is even better than book 1, and that is saying a lot!

This book picks up a year after book 1...Cam and Maggie are about to get married and have a ready made family with her little niece, the restaurant is doing well and all seems happy! AJ is home from the military and very restless, and Jag is still chasing after Star! Nate and Tilly have lost there infant son, which really broke my heart, and Nate is so bereaved, that he is being downright cruel to Tilly...and ultimately loses his sight, I think its a case of hysterical blindness....this is super hard for them...We have a new player Emily...she is Nate's baby sister...and Aj is hot for her....she is very young and inexperienced and this is going to be an interesting ride for Aj, she is also in grave danger...There is so much going on here and the ending is really exciting...and really sweet too...on to book 3-4....LOVE THIS SERIES....DOWNLOAD IT NOW AND LISTEN...YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!

Thank You Lita!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love the Wolfe Brothers - Important Clarification

The Wolfe brothers, oh my! I received book number one (Always) in exchange for a review. However, I could not wait to continue the series and was thrilled with a gift of book number two!

In Maybe, we are plunged back into the family of the Wolfe brothers. This time we find Nate Wolfe and Tillie grieving the loss of their three-year-old son in very different ways. Will their relationship make it through this dramatic time?

On top of all he's going through, Nate finds out that the towns player is interested in his younger sister, Emily. She is not receptive of his advances, at first…

There's also another relationship, Jags & Star that is whirling around in this book as well.

It seems like a lot or that it might be confusing, but Lita Stone has perfectly organized this book. Everything is laid out and easy to follow without being predictable.

Ian Murry also keeps each character in his or her unique "voice". Murry's performance is spot on.

Perhaps I am a little bit dense, but I did not realize that this was a paranormal series. Books 1 and 2 are romantic and suspenseful. It wasn't until the end of this book (no spoilers) that I realized it was ALSO paranormal. This is disappointing to me because I cannot 'get' that genre.

Audible has it classified as romance >suspense with no mention of the paranormal themes. I have no doubt that those who like this genre (paranormal) will absolutely love it and become addicted to the series.

PLEASE this is NOT meant as criticism. Lita Stone writes wonderfully. If you like or don't mind paranormal, snatch the series up. I do not want to discourage anyone from getting these books.

MY PREFERENCE is romance without the paranormal. Audible's classification doesn't reflect this, nor does the publisher's description.

NOTE: Mature themes, strong language and some violence
