Book 1: The Boss

From best-selling author Lexy Timms comes a billionaire romance that'll make you swoon and fall in love all over again.

Jamie Connors has given up on finding a man. Despite being smart, pretty, and just slightly overweight, she's a magnet for the kind of guys that don't stay around.

Her sister's wedding is at the foreground of the family's attention. Jamie would be fine with it if her sister wasn't pressuring her to lose weight so she'll fit in the maid of honor dress, her mother would get off her case, and her ex-boyfriend wasn't about to become her brother-in-law.

Determined to step out on her own, she accepts a PA position from billionaire Alex Reid. The job includes an apartment on his property and gets her out of living in her parents' basement.

Jamie has to balance her life and somehow figure out how to manage her billionaire boss - without falling in love with him.

Book 2: The Boss Too

Jamie Connors has decided a job is more important than a boyfriend. She's landed an awesome position working as billionaire Alex Reid's personal PA. It is not meant to be a job with benefits, and yet she finds herself in Alex's bed. Despite being smart, pretty, and only slightly overweight, she doesn't believe she's attractive enough for a man like Alex.

Trying to manage work and put as much time into her sister's wedding, Jamie finds herself trying to please everyone. Her sister's wedding is at the foreground of the family's attention. Jamie would be fine if her sister wasn't so bossy, if her mother would stop nagging, and her awful ex-boyfriend wasn't about to become her brother-in-law.

Jamie has to learn to love herself again, speak up for herself, and have the confidence to go after what she wants. She also needs to prove to Alex that she's perfect for her job and for his bed.

Book 3: Who's the Boss Now

How close can you get to the fire and not get burned?

Landing the dream job, working and dating her incredibly hot boss, and at the same time gaining the confidence she's never had, Jamie doesn't think life could get any better.

She's helping to manage a multibillion-dollar company. Her family issues seem to be resolved, and even though she and Alex have to figure out the wrinkles, it looks like they'll be able to be professional at work and romantic after.

Except perfect isn't quite exactly how Jamie imagined it would be.

Not Worth the listen

I'll be honest, I'm writing this review without having finished the book. The reason I'm doing so is that, it's so bad, I might not be able to finish. This book sounds like a brand new author wrote it and self published after being rejected numerous times. I downloaded this because I was hoping for a good, or semi decent, BBW novel. Yeah..... no. The character starts off at a size 12 and spends, from what I've listened to, the first part of the book successfully losing weight. Not a BBW romance, Audible. The narrator, while not great, I could have listened to without too much irritation but the book was so bad, it made the narration seem that much worse. Honestly, this time, it's not just the narrator's fault. The book is just that bad. Jamie's family is horrid and she lacks a backbone to stand up to them. She's planning her heinous sister's wedding to her ex boyfriend and her mom and sister actually demand, DEMAND, she quit her job. Oh, and Jamie is the maid of honor but she won't be if she can't slim down to a size six to fit the dress already ordered for her. OH HELL NO! Does Jamie get furious at this treatment? Nope. She just shrugs it off like "That's family. What can you do." Grrr!!!! Does the bad stop there? HA! You wish! The fact that her main male character, Alex, made it to "billionaire" status without ever having a personal assistant is far fetched to say the least. Added to that, at one point the guy just takes off after something upsets him, has zero contact, and leaves his personal assistant to run a client meeting that could mean millions of dollars lost if it's blown?! I mean, WTF?! It's like no attempt at making this book even slightly realistic was made. My advice to the author, stick with what you know. If you don't know or understand the corporate world, leave it out of your writing because the lack of understanding shines through. I just....I can't. Future readers, save yourself the pain and find another BBW novel cuz this is awful.

Not impressed

I love the books and the story line, but the narrator was horrible! A whiney mostly monotonous woman I spent the entire time trying to figure out who was speaking or if they were thinking.

I have listened this to twice already... love the series, the characters the story plot.. I just didn't realize that the whole series consisted of 10 books.. I ready alot.. you'll love these books..

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jaime.. she was sort of a pushover and took alot from her mother and sister, but I loved when she started sticking up for herself and what she did she did herself only not to please anyone..

What was that?!

I must say I had high hopes for this book, but that old saying, You can't judge a book by its cover is true. The only thing good about these books is the cover. The heroine was a doormat to the 'nth degree. The ex boyfriend was a major jerk, the sister and mother were too horrible b"s and the father was just a weakling. I don't know what was worse, the story itself or the narrator. She had no changes in her voice at all. It was all one tone, she read as if she wasn't interested at all. Sorry. The whole thing was BAD just BAD!!

Unfinished book

So someone is trying to sabotage the relation but we don't get to find out who did it. Book is dry with a very insecure person. The ending is just as dry.

Just Fabulous

Reading this box set was great but listening to it made it rise to another level. I'm very grateful that Lexy let me listen to this box set. Hannah Pralle was just great at reading this series I hope she narrates all the others in it. It needs more than 5 * can't wait to hear the others.

Jamie and Alex

I had a hard time getting past the narrator. This is a set of three books about Jamie and Alex. Jamie's family leaves little to be desired. Each story was pretty good. A different narrator would have made this better for me. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

An ok listen

This was an ok listen. I neither hated nor loved the narrator. She did an ok job with the narration. What I didn’t like was the tinny echo that I could hear in the background.
The storyline was eh. Read it before. The drama was flat and, again, something I’ve seen before. The ending was a let down.
Overall I would give this 2.5 stars.

Great Box Set

I'm glad this book came in a box of 3. The story didn't end in the first book and not really in the second book. Kind of in the third book. Great story of insecurities (on both sides), family conflicts, and romance. Gonna have to get the rest of the series. The narrator did a great job with the characters. The author wrote a story that was hard to put down. However, there were a lot of redundancies that made for some boring sections. Still, overall, I liked the books.
