Man of Ice

Diana Palmer always writes a good story. This one seems a little slow or off. Not her normal book. The characters were weak and a little flat. The reader was okay --- his female voice was fake.

Sheer brilliance

If you could sum up Man of Ice in three words, what would they be?

heartbreakingly heartwarmingly awesome

Any additional comments?

Palmer returns to the scene and makes us fall in love with Wyoming all over again with this heartbreakingly heart-warming tale. She uses exquisitely vivid descriptions that you can’t help but picture. I can barely express how fully she drew me into this tale. The narrator really enhanced the story with his varying pace, tone, and emotion.

You get to know the main characters of this tale in intimate detail. Their past, present, and futures all make their way into this tale. I felt for these characters. My heart broke for both of the main characters in this heart-warming yet shocking tale. The supporting cast, although small, was perfect for this tale. They round out the story nicely, walking the line between family and employee.

I was emotionally invested in this story. I didn’t want it to end but at the same time I wanted to know how it turned out. It was a brilliant tale that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Interesting !

Poor female narration takes away from experience.
Life’s problems and parental negligence effected characters adulthood!

this is a very dated book...hero not very loving

I like Diana Palmer but a few of her older titles today are very dated and hard to listen too..just didn't care much for the hero and the dialogue was hard to hear...not a favorite of mine.

I wouldn't say it was great...

The story wasn't very captivating but I would say it would be better with a different narrator. I just couldn't deal with his lack of inflection ... I wouldn't recommend.

Boring

a total waste of money even at the low price I bought it at. I couldn't finish it no matter how hard I tried. Sad to say I bought 2 books at the same time! Hopefully the 2nd will be better.

Disappointing

It must take a lot of time and concentration to write a book, that is why I am very sorry to give the review. The storyline was was so boring I skipped a few paragraphs.. The narration in no way helped me get thru this one.
