Publisher's summary

Lily

My life has been nothing but a constellation of conflict. Dad died when I was 12, check. Mom died of cancer just before my 18th birthday, check. Married a conceited pretty boy, check. Husband decided that our nine-year marriage was an open marriage but forgot to tell me, check. Moved to Cumming, Georgia, to be closer to my Southern Chaotic family, check. Became infatuated with a man-wh*re who has no problem with being an exhibitionist, check. Crazy ex-husband sending gifts, check.

For once, I’d like to have a life that is planned out by me and not the people or ordeals that clash with the life I want.

Chase

My life was what I wanted until the night I found out I was a father. Being a foster child doesn’t always give you the warm and fuzzies about having a family. I’m a member of the Southern Chaotic’s MC. All I wanted was to ride with my brothers, drink myself into oblivion, and find a warm body of the female variety to spend a few hours with. Now, I have a kid that is anything but the fun-loving kid he should be after being abused by his mother. Learning to be a dad and deal with all the conflicts that rattle my kid is frustrating on its own, but add in the curvaceous blonde that has been placed in my path, and life is anything but delightful. She tries my patience and unmans me without even knowing.

For once, I’d like to have my life back to the way it was with the addition of a healthy and happy kid.

This is a standalone book, but to better understand some of the situations, you should be familiar with the first book, Minor Glitches. This is meant for an audience 18 and older. There are some scenes that may not be suitable for some listeners.

Great Listen

Lily has left her cheating husband and moved to Georgia to her MC family. She is attracted to Chase who is a jerk to her but she loves his son. Chase learns that he wants her and will make her his. Her exhusband decides he needs her back to make his life easier and will stop at nothing to get her. This book is full of drama and crazy ass men. Great Narration. I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator.

2nd book in Southern Chaotics series

This is the 2nd book in the Southern Chair is series. The first book was a bit calm for a MC Club . Dana Arden has stepped it up with this book. It features more of the Club and things clubs get into. There is a lot of sex, cussing, and some violence in this book and I enjoyed every minute of it. Lacy Laurel and Logan McAllister do a great job with the narration. I love the feeling they both put into their characters. They fully kept my attention throughout the book. Can't wait for book 3.

Major Changes for this Alpha!

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Chase is just fine with his life. No commitments. No problems. Until he gets handed a son he doesn’t know how to parent, and a Southern Chaotic family girl moves back to town bringing trouble behind her. A full book is packed into this 4 hour listen. It’s a well developed hate to love romance with the all the steam and the feel good HEA.
Sigh. Loved it.

Lacy and Logan tear up the vocals, as usual. Great duo!

Gotta get the full TWO THUMBS UP!! 👍🏻👍🏻

Different to Book 1

The title is a pretty good indicator of how different this book is to the first. The topics are heavier and include abduction, domestic abuse and well... lets call it unlawful retaliation, among others.

Lily impresses me in this book, she's very resilient and her inner strength shows on a number of occasions and her protective instincts are out in full force.

The men in this series however are not appealing to me. Chance leaves me thinking 'Lily, you can do better!', he's an arse for at least the first third of the book and for me he never redeemed himself.

Loved the female characters (well the nice ones anyway), enjoyed the plot, loved the writing.

The narration is just as good as book one and I loved it then. The narrators work really well together and produce a great result together. Great tone, pace and character voices.

I received a free copy of this book from the author and/or narrator and/or publisher and I voluntarily wrote this honest review.

A 5 star major listen

I have not heard book 1 in the series. This was a great story. It can be listened as a stand alone . This was my first from the author and I liked her style. This was a short novella listen
Hero is Chase . Heroine is Lily

The story is filled with suspense, mystery like a true M/C story does. It has lots of alpha males which would make you drool over .
Chase is a skirt chaser. He thinks he can get any women he sets his mind to . It’s what the attitude in the M/C is all about. He meets Lily but for some reason she does nothing for him .
Lily goes back home to the M/C from a marriage that failed . Somehow she and Chase go back and forth ... after some misunderstanding they get together
Grab the listen and find out what the misunderstanding is

Both Narrators were great . They had clear voices, and they played the parts to a tee

Another amazing story about the Southern Chaotic MC. The tense situations in this book keep you on your toes and into the story to the point that you have to listen to the whole book in one sitting. I can’t wait to see what comes next in this MC.

Short MC Story

This is the second book in the Southern Chaotic's MC Series. I like the main character, Lily. She's strong and resilient. David, her ex husband, is a jerk, who wants Lily back! Chase is an alpha man, single dad, who didn't want any commitment with anyone before he meets Lily! This makes me wonder why Lily was interested in him at first! I love her relationship with Jack, Chase's son. This short story is filled with a little suspenseful and steamy scenes. The narration was well done. Lacy Laurel has a beautiful voice, easy to listen. She's one of my favorite narrators. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Good addition to the series

I love these kind of of nugget novellas, they are fun to listen to! Dana Arden has created a family in her Southern Chaotics MC drawing you in and making you feel at home. Lilly goes back home after a disastrous marriage to the protectiveness and security of the MC. She is building a new life when things start to go awry. Chase, a member of the MC recently found out he is a dad. He has no interest in settling down, and keeps himself busy with drinking, women and trying to learn to be a father. When these two cross, there is no love lost, but when danger lurks, Chase realizes this could be it for him! Arden creates an atmosphere of suspense with a burning romance in the background. The enemies to lovers trope is in full swing, and the sexual tension is high! And I love Lilly with Chase's son, it's touching to listen to.

The narration continues with Lacy Laurel and Logan McAllister. This team brings the story to life. I love Logan's little southern drawl for Chase, it gives him a distinct characteristic different from the rest. Lacy gives Lilly strength through her turmoil and a vulnerability you can feel to your toes. This short is great fun!
